HEADS UP !! MIND BOGGLING IRANIAN THREAT

HEADS UP - BREAKING NEWS - IRANIAN THREAT - BREAKING ON FR .

REPORTS FROM IRAN STATE:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad has declared he will make an announcement on Wednesday July 19th, 2006 which:

"WILL LET THE MOSLEM WORLD AROUND THE GLOBE KNOW THAT AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ISRAEL'S NUCLEAR ARMS OR NUCLEAR CAPABILITY EVER AGAIN"

This provides three possible scenarios:

1. Iran is about to nuke Israel.

2. Iran will declare they have nuclear capability with at least four missiles with NUCLEAR warheads (common knowledge in intelligence circles) that can easily reach all of Israel and threaten to use these against Israel if that country does not immediately cease attacks on the Hezbollah and Lebanon.

3. In the event that Israel does not comply, Iran will declare war on Israel and fire nuclear missiles, which would not leave much of a country over which any more fighting is logical.

HOPED FOR RESULT: Depending on the extent of damage to Israel and the ability of that country to continue as a nation in a radioactively polluted environment, already weak-kneed Western powers will call for creating non-aggression pacts with nuclear Iran.

The purpose of having them is like the USSR - state power is used to assist proxy states/groups and nukes keep oponents from widening their response to direct military strikes on you. So Iran thinks that having nukes will allow it to be even more adventurous with its support of terrorists.

That would be true if the leadership had a reasonable grasp on reality. But they don't. They are true believers, YabaDabaDoo, the PM, believes that the 12th Iman can be coaxed out by Armegedon, so he's trying to start it. A nutjob with nukes is not the same as a criminal thug with them.

Are you saying you don't remember who came to the aid of untold thousands of Muslim tsunami victims???? Have you forgotten the largest, single natural disaster in the last 100 years.......and who stepped up to help??? Do you not remember how these wealthy Muslim countries sat on their treasure and their fat asses while the EVIL Americans, a Christian people, did the heavy lifting??

What do you not understand?

Once source, especially one few have ever heard of before, does not make a fact.

You need three unconnected sources, all saying the same thing before you can act on intelligence, with intelligence.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst, and find two more sources saying this before you believe in it or act on it.

For some reason, I have that BSG scene running through my head after reading this thread.
The one where Baltar is sitting in his home watching the TV news reports of the first wave of attacks.

Let me guess. Iran will explode an underground nuke they purchased from NK, claim it as their own and threaten to nuke everyone else.

I think that Iran doing a nuclear test is a very good guess.

As to North Korea, I would be unsurprised if they were to coordinate with Iran to do a reasonably simultaneous nuclear test also, or at least some more missile launches. That would sow much confusion among the Western powers as they tried to sort out what all had happened and might be about to happen.

If the North Koreans were to make a nuclear test they would however then risk a major Japanese response, possibly including an immediate repeal of Article 9.

On the other hand, this could all be more insane rhetoric from the raving nutcases running Iran. But I think we need to take military action very soon with respect to Iran. We have waited a long time past what I considered reasonable.

"Iran will not use nukes, even if it has them."

1) Iran now has nukes (5 of them planned - cant confirm number completed - but 3 or 4)

2) Methods to deliver the nukes are not finalized (there have been problems - weight? - my source cant confirm) but an alternative plan is being worked on and almost finalized.

3) Iran will be using them again Israel.

4) The strike will come soon.

Equipment for the enrichment was supplied by Dr. Khan and Pakistan - as well as small amounts of highly enriched uranium - - I'll be posting more details as soon as I can confirm them all - things are moving very fast atm.

There is a lot to story - you can start reading here

Syria claimed the other day they had the capability to take out Israel's nuclear facilities did they not?

The Iranian leaders are insane but not suicidal.

Even though I think you're right, and I'vre seen that line of reasoning on Intel sites...what we do not know is how they would react if they really believed they were about to lose power.

I still would like to know what Bush meant when he said, "...stop this sh$t...It's over."

What's over? And what ever is "over" could it be the reason for all the over the top rhetoric out of Amadhinutjob?

my best guess is that Hizbollah is going to fire some big, long-range missiles at Dimona and try to damage Israel's nuclear weapons labs

I believe it was Syria that said they could take out Israel's nuclear facilities. What in the Syrian arsenal could penetrate that? I know they have a variety of Shahab's don't they?

"What in the Syrian arsenal could penetrate that?"

Nothing. All they can do is dig some new fairway bunkers in the local golf course. I'm more concerned about Iran bluffing and claiming they already have nuclear weapons. That would ratchet up the level of confusion on this issue.

A nuclear bluff would be a strong hand at this point. It would also be a very dangerous one. What was that hand called, 'dead mans bluff''aces and eights'? Israel did accelerate their plans. Iran has to have accelerated their plans for this bluff to actually be a strong hand.

"If they had them they would have used them"

You are SO wrong. Timing is everything- even with terrorism. There was no need. Till perhaps now. When their Hezbollah surrogates scream for help and require a bigger threat thn they pose themselves.

so on 9/11 if they had a choice of using planes or nukes, they would still use planes???

remember, we are not dealing with rational people.
