One solution which WOULD work would be to convert ALL of the idiots to Christianity..... Anybody suggested that yet??

Wow, this is totally opposite of what the media usually reports about our troops. They have been trying so hard to make us believe that our troops are not doing anything constructive in Iraq.
A lot of us were predicting massive payback well before this thing began. If it has been avoided to this point it's a feather in the cap of the U.S. armed forces. Those would be the same people the Sunnis have been killing since then. It strikes me that in this regard, they chose...poorly...
This has been going on for centuries, and will continue ad nauseum, U.S. troops or no U.S. troops. Our troops have enough coming at them without Sunnis hiding behind them. And this is the main reason democracy has a small chance of succeeding in Iraq, IMHO.
