That is a great idea!  Anita!  Why don't you set up a (free) blog at Townhall.COM to post at least your media nuggets?  That could be a major goto post for lots of folks.  I don't want to detract from people coming here.  If you were to link back to this thread when you post you would drive up traffic.  Your media nuggets post is a major resource for me and I'm sure lots of others.

Scary stuff there Dave. Of course it's happening here as well. They hide in mosques,terrorists hideouts masking as churches,and then go out and recruit those who have no hope whatsoever and go from there, brain washing new fodder all the way. Without blind obedience to wacko beliefs there would be no Islamofascism.

I'm betting (as others in the DBM have suggested) that Armitage was Novak's source. If he were acting on an agenda he would be doing so at Powell's behest. Powell and Armitage had their own agenda throughout their tenure at State. IMHO that is why they are no longer at State.

Novak would be telling the truth about not having talked to his source even with the Powell interview. I do not think he'd be telling the truth to characterize Armitage as not being a "partisan gunslinger" accept in the narrowest bilateral interpretation of that phrase.

His partisanship wasn't Republican nor Democrat. It was Powellian.

The Black Christian community would do well to look at what happens in African states when Muslims take charge and intimidate with words and violence Christian churches, clergy and worshipers, or those who violate or are perceived to violate any Islamic laws.

The Islamos recruit big time in black neighborhoods through mosques but their major recruitment is done in jail houses throughout the country.

It's taking longer that I had hoped for law enforcement here to recognize the difference between a terrorist hiding place(mosque) and a true Church of one's God.

Joe Lockhart (former Clintonista) and some Republican whose name I've forgotten are launching a web site in October called HotSoup.com.

They want to bring news to people in a non-partisan way and are asking for public opinions over time as the web site gets developed.

I think freepers could have some valuable input and might want to keep track of the web site as it develops and sends out questionnaires.

I think with the excellent research that is done by Freepers, we might be able to go to that web site and inject some common sense and change a few minds.

Right now there are just a few questions to be answered and when the web site is up and running in October, we might be able to influence events as it relates to the election in November.

For instance, right now one of the questions is what affects the US more and what do we want to learn more about. There isn't a place to check off terrorism as an area of interest but there is a place to check Other and put in a comment so I check I wanted to hear more reporting about terrorism and geopolitics.

I think if young people especially were taught more about the history of terrorism, they might see what a threat it is and just which party (Republicans) are willing to do something about it.

Yes you are right. I wish I could disagree but after reading the NY Treason Times editorial about "Bush using terrorism to expand his Presidential Powers" it is sadly obvious quite a large segment of America has forgotten 9-11-01.

However I remain unconvinced that the these tactics will achieve the results desired. There is a danger here that the Conservative will put themselves in a position of the Boy who cried Wolf. Right now the threat is long term and possible not immediate. Cry "wolf" too often and the villagers don't respond when the wolf actually shows up.
