Then with your permission, I will use the tools in Frontpage, which I use to compose these things, and my "vast intellect" (yeah, right) to "clean up" any posts of yours that I crib from FR to Wizard's Works blog in the future. (of course, that means your trusting a blind man to "see" any typos)

After all, that's what Wizard's do... ;^>

I've been thinking about something....

I know it is my fault I live in this time zone but....

Sunday's I'm up at 5:45 and already there are over 200 posts.

At 6am here I watch FoxNewSunday live - (9am WestCoast - noon NY)

But I never seem to catch up on all the comments and I either miss a heads up or important information - by this time there may be 400+! So I've been thinking.

You do a great job of lining up the gaggle group and is there any way of listing comments on that show under that show. It would be like a group within a group. Titles with sub titles and comments. anyway just a thought!!

Sunday new is so important - not that we really learn something new - just that the left exposes themselves again and again and again!!!!

If I'm not making myself clear let me know - I've got someone waiting patiently for me and will be back in a couple of hours. thanks for listening

my take on what your saying is a variation (ex post facto) on my preview thread.

a post on the Sunday show thread of the posts, organized by show and or topic?

No problem. I charge $2,497 per minute for my time. I would, however, trade that for a week month on your couch in Hawaii..... (rodguy can even furnish our fishing gear... you do have surf fishing stuff Rod... right?)

Seriously, let me take a look at this weeks thread and see how much effort is really involved. We're not talking value judgments, per se, just a list... post #111, 222, 333, 4444 on Meet The Press, then a list Post #111, 254, 456, 789 on "the end of the world as we know it."

Intriguing thought. It might be a lot of work, though...

You up for a rodguy911 type tag team?

Lets all look at this weeks thread and try to organize it in our own minds and see how much work we're talking about.

Ugh! That sounds like too much work. The beauty of the thread is getting all the comments on all the shows in one place. The problem is it's gotten so popular it's too dang long.

Sunday is a busy day for me as I go to church and teach Sunday school, then in the evening we all have family dinner (we have my mother living on one side of our house and my in-laws on the other side), which I often cook... Frankly, I rarely have time to get thru the whole thread anymore. And I hate to miss a single comment.

I don't have a good answer. Ask folks to keep down the unnecessary chatter? No. I won't be the thread police. Assign certain shows to certain posters? No way! Sometimes when a great thought comes over you, you just gotta post it!

We all need to post like old men and read like Evelyn Wood!

my purpose on the "awards" portion of the thread, when I do it, is to provide my take on a list of "important posts from my point of view" for folks in your situation (and mine) who have missed all or part of the shows. I'm trying to identify not only the post that have the funniest or fiercest or most topical bit of information, but also the posts that give all of us the pointers to what it was we missed. In my case it's mostly because I'm racing too fast and have skipped over something that I ought to have read more carefully. But if I do that job right I should be pointing you, with both the top 10 and the honorable mention posts, to the ones I think (IMHO) that you should spend time going back to examine.

that's why I do what I do.

I'm working on a test version of the "show by show" list and it looks like as much work as the top 10 list.

I propose that next time I come up in the rotation I try to add a comment about which show I think the posts I pull out are related to. We'll see if that covers it.

And, by the way, what makes you think that there's any "unnecessary chatter" on this thread? Every post, at least the ones by you and I, are golden!!!!!!!! ;^>
