Hear, hear! Now, if some Christian leaders would stop cozying up to the "peaceful" Mooselims (while censuring and condemning Israel) ... we need clearly delineated positions here, not conciliation with the enemy.
Off to have my dinner now (Roast pork, apple sauce, new potatoes and mangetout.
Waffles and strawberries for dessert. See you all next or earlier.
#467, Priceless, and you spelled her name right too.
Andrea's backpedaling was on the Imus program when he questioned her on it. It was very unconvincing.
what is mangetout.?
It is time to remind the drive by media and Sunday hosts that discussing, ignoring, dancing and drinking with Kim (and now I understand they are on EHarmony together (I can start a rumor as well as anyone) together) got us to September 11, 2001.

#474, you Sunday thread freepers are making me cry and my stomach hurt from laughing so much. When I start coughing, I am going to have to leave for Wally World.
#477, I would like to bet that the un-manly Chrissie Mathews has familiarity with only one meaning of screwdriver and it is not a tool.
Being a Brit I think I had better keep out of that one :o)
The actor who played Q in the Bond movies, the late Desmond Llewelyn, had been in a German POW camp for five years, having been captured in France in 1940. When the camp was liberated by American GIs and he told a young soldier he had been there for five years the fresh faced (and ignorant) kid reportedly said "Aw, cut it out. War's only been on for three years."
He maintained that he had a life long dislike for Americans that he blamed on that incident.
Then, of course, there's the Chinese. Many think that the occupation by the Imperial Japanese during World War 2 should be counted as starting with the beginning of the Second Sino Japanese war in 1937. Others date it from Japan occupying Manchuria formally in 1931 or even the end of the Russo Japanese war in 1905. The international treaties that ended that conflict granted many sovereign powers to Japan over north eastern Chinese territories.
And then there's Korea, which was a Japanese colony / slave nation, fromally from 1910 but the fighting actually began about 1895, after Japan defeated China in the first Sino Japanese war.
And of course we can look at the regions troubles earlier with the British and other European powers control of China in the mid 1800s stemming from the Opium Wars. Ah, yes, Taipan. Things can get complicated indeed.
#486, lets take bets on a Bottle of Scotch or his recurrent "Malaria".
phew! that is some analogy!
She sure did try to say she didn't know after she said she did know. LOL.....nice try dearie, but if this case goes forward, you WILL be answering questions. LOL....
I just finished reading this whole thread..BRAVO..excellent!
Thank you!
MSNBC gal on just talking about all the poor civilians who have been killed in Lebanon, not a word about the deaths in Isreal. I read somewhere, that Howie Dean has now issued a statement that Bush has been a complete failure of a President because he has allowed this violence to go on, and his is calling his blue forces to infilitrate all the red states to tell them Bush is a failure, and the dems will do much better on national defense. These people are beyond sick. They politicize everything.
Re: Jane Harman. I believe she worked in the Carter administration and her father for FDR.
I Knew you would like that one!LOL
#506, OK, this is going to be one helluva thread when it gets finished.
