FoxNews:

ref #52, that is an excellent point. He never had to do what Scooter Libby,Karl Rove and others had to do.
Great post. Utterly inexcuseable how a Freeper with a busy social and personal life can, on their own, keep track of all the various facts about the Wilson-Palme story but paid, supposedly professional, Journalists cannot. No wonder people are tuning out their crap
That means the NGO and aid money should be pulled tomorrow a.m. The Saudis gave Lebanon fifty mil yesterday... they can give Syria some dough while they're at it...
Freeper Royal Wulff has just said on another thread and I think he's 100% correct:
MSM is attempting to develop a Katrina-style stranded refugee crisis over this in order to Bash Bush.
Just wait.
They wanted to ask so the terrorists know where to lob their missles... they're the last folks you can tell... even though you want the public to know what's going on.
We are very glad you got out of there, rodguy.
I spent several hours on Saturday early morning sending those links and that information to every news organization I could think of. I'm trying to shame them into reporting and investigating once in a while.
A hopelessly optimistic endeavor on my part :-)
Chris Matthews has Dan Rather on his panel this week .. LOL
Heheh, I am enjoying just the very thought of that.
Which is why the various complainers should thank God Bush is President. He simply will not listen to all this Staus Quo nonsense from the Political Establishment. He is a results oriented guy and will simply tune out their nonsense and do what needs to be done. Israel is killing terrorist now that we will simply have to kill later. Anything the US can do to help them get the job done, we should do.
If the MSM can fly in their own correspondents, what's preventing them from doing their part for stranded Americans by flying some of them out to safety?
From Haaretz:
16:53 U.S. Embassy in Beirut: Teams arrived to plan logistics of evacuating nationals (AP)
16:47 Defense Minister Peretz declares 48-hour `emergency home front situation` (Haaretz)
16:35 Shin Bet chief: Gilad Shalit is alive (Haaretz)
Having a discredited new anchor on your program. Wow, that takes, you got it...
Courage.
That is perfect, is it not.
For generations this was the approach of Republicans and the right, as well. Henry Kissinger called it "realpolitik." George W. Bush explicitely changed that with his policy of spreading democracy, first, last and always, as our foreign policy.
Yes, you still have to deal with the realities on the ground and "shake hands with the devil" on occassion, but our policy is to do all we can to support democratic liberation movements wherever they are.
I think it's the right thing to do. The trick is knowing when you can move and when you have to hold back.
I had to do a double take to make sure it was Dan *L*
GOOD point!
