Israel At War - Show The Flag
By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency
Haifa----July 15......The Israel News Agency is asking the Israel public, Jews and Christians worldwide to display the Israel flag and to coordinate rallies in support of Israel at this critical time.
Israel, which left both Lebanon and Gaza in unilateral moves for peace, now finds itself defending herself against terrorist Qassam and Katusha rockets from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
This was a totally unprovoked war for which Israel finds its cities and towns now being targeted by Islam terrorists. Kiryat Shomona, Metulla, Ashdod, Sderot, Nahariya, Safed, Haifa and today the Sea of Galilee city of Tiberius have been struck by terror rockets. In each and every instance, Israel civilians have been murdered or injured.
The Israel Defense Forces is striking back and in doing so honoring civilian life. The IDF has explicit instructions to attack only terror and military targets in Lebanon and Gaza. Israel reserve troops have been called from their homes and offices to don uniforms and bear weapons. They leave a society which will now suffer the economic price of war. And that is terror's most lethal weapon - hit at the economy and you have secured victory.
As Jerusalem Post editor David Horovitz wrote: "There are those who have branded this latest conflict a continuation of Israel's War of Independence, and there is no little truth in the assertion. On both of the fronts on which Israel has been drawn into heavy fighting, its enemies can make no legitimate claim to be pursuing a territorial dispute: as of last summer, Israel relinquished its hold on the Gaza Strip; in Lebanon, it pulled back to the UN-certified international border six years ago. Except that, in both cases, the Jewish state's assailants are indeed pursuing a territorial ambition - to unseat Israel from its own sovereign lands."
Israel is fighting the same enemy that attacked New York, Washington, Spain, France, Bali, Egypt, Jordan, England and Turkey. An enemy which embraces the satanic verses of the Muslim Koran calling for a global Jihad or Holy War against all who are not Islamic. Against every Jewish and Christian family.
Israel faces enemies in Syria. A country which is harboring the leadership of the terror group Hamas. A dictatorship which Israel has given 72 hours to release two IDF captured soldiers or face a possible offensive by Israel.
And Iran, which is supporting the terror group Hezbollah with over 100 troops in Lebanon and drawing blood money from Teheran. Iran which is attempting to develop nuclear weapons and has sworn to "wipe Israel off the map." Hezbollah which murdered 220 US Marines on October 23, 1983 while they were performing peace keeping duty in Lebanon.
Pray for Israel's leadership to remain strong. For Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert who told UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan that Israel would not end its defensive military operation in Lebanon until the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1559, which calls for disarming Hezbollah and the deployment of the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon. "We shall not surrender to arrogance and we will not negotiate with terrorists," Olmert said.
Take your Israel flag out and hang it outside your window. Place an Israel flag on your car's antenna. Speak to each and every Jewish and Christian organization and ask them when are they planning to hold a rally in support of Israel's right to defend herself.
Many of Israel's children are crying tonight in cold, gray cemented air raid shelters. Patriot anti-missile batteries have been deployed around the Israel port city of Haifa. Tel Aviv is on full alert for a possible missile attack.
Raise your Israel flag high. Display it on-line on every news Website and blog throughout the Internet.
Pray for the people of Israel and every sovereign democratic nation which embraces humane and peaceful values. Pray for Israel to find a true and sincere partner for peace. To build the region through trade and commerce, not to destroy innocent Jewish and Arab lives with suicide bombers, Katusha and Qassam missiles.
Raise your Israel flag high. And keep it there for every IDF soldier, every democratic nation and every Israeli child to see.
Nukem before you get nuked if that's what it takes.
Wanna make the libRats in your town grind their teeth...put out an Israeli flag to show solidarity - it speaks volumes - to the enemies within our country.
And we need to remind ourselves that Israel is riding point on this one...all the way to Syria and Iran? We need to join soon - this may be the best chance the world will have to drive these barbarians, with delusions of the Caliphate restored, back into the sand...
I imagine flags will be hard to find, but a sheet of poster board and a can of blue paint isn't
Let's go for it.
Israel--fighting the terrorists Americans don't want to fight.
Take that Dems!
Godspeed Israel, we will help you.
Good idea, I'll print one and put it in a window.
one sheet of poster board and a can of paint! go for it
It shouldn't even be a religious issue. As an agnostic, I fully support the Israelis in their battle against the barbarians who would gladly kill them all.

Flyin' in Maine.
Evidently I didn't post the photo the right way. Sorry.
I saw a nice "I love Israel" bumper sticker on a car in Santa Barbara, CA, yesterday.
True - it's something that occurred to me when this latest conflict started - Israel shows a lot more guts than the entire Western World combined!
This Catholic American Family stands firmly with Israel..
I actually did that this morning. Last night a ordered several of these from Amazon.com.
Shalom Israel
Imagine if BJ had gotten his Piece Plan through? Israel would be dead.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Shalom Israel
