Nice post. It outlines the players, and whose on which side of the fence very nicely, confirming earlier projections.

Looks like few in the Muslim world wish to salute Tehran.

72 hours...wonder from when. If Israel hits Syria, everything gets shut down including Ben Gurion.

Israel has been mobilizing very quietly for the past several days. I have not asked the Sofalad if he has seen much in the way of troop movement etc, for a variety of reasons.

Considering that Hezbollah has operated for years within eyesight of the UN peacekeepers on the Lebanon-Israel border, and there was no one lifted a finger....do they really expect anything to happen? Of course not. The UN is the lapdog of dictators and terrorist thugs around the world.

wouldn't give you 2 cents for Jordan or Egypt. Turkey on the other hand is pretty amazing. Excellent infrastructure. They're pretty jacked up. Roads are excellent with terrific sign posting. The people are hospitable...

It is a secular Islamic nation and a lot more jacked up than, say, Greece.

“They might attack Tel Aviv with their long-range rockets. This is in the (military’s) assessment,” a senior Israeli intelligence said on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information. It is unclear why Hezbollah had not yet used the longer-range rockets, he said".

Great. Sofalad is on his way from Tiberius to Tel Aviv. Although Tel Aviv has Patriot batteries all over the place. Tiberius didn't.

MSNBC or CNN's newswire had something about Hamas holding an Israeli soldier prisoner. Not the same two Hezbollah has, I think. Not good.
