One of the camps, didn't look to bad. Of course the prelim is that it was Israel. But no one has anything definitive. I hope it turns out to be Hezbollah. It would serve Hamas right.

Peace through strength. Peace through VICTORY.

That's the only way to get peace.

Revealing posts on this link. Thanks for it.. I think this was sort of the general opinion of many:

Yesterday, the Syrian President offered Lebanese citizens access to the Damascus Airport.

I speek for many Lebanese when I say: "I'd rather rot in Lebanon than use your stinky airport."

The general theme is the Lebanese hate the Syrians and are/were pleased with their newly elected government. They wonder why Israel doesn't go after Syria who is supporting Hezbulla.... after reading their comments, I have to wonder myself.

Clarification re: the Iraqi athletes..

I just hear Brian say it was the head of the Olympic committee that was kidnapped..

Earlier, I could have sworn I heard them say some of the soccer team....but, just now, he said the head of the Olympic committee.

I will wait and see what they say (if anything), later.

Military airlifts of U.S. citizens out of Lebanon? Do you suppose that's the 'Pentagon part of the plan?'

It's safer for an 18-24 year old to be in the military than to live in a big city...........or even to drive a car, if the comparison is made.

During Katrina I heard stats that parts of New Orleans were more dangerous than being on the front lines in Iraq. Don't know if that is true though.

Now that's funny. The rest is not funny, but I needed the levity. Maybe Baghdad Bob is now the Spokesman for the Arab League?

Note to Arab League...Peace Process is Dead....

The only Peace Process the Arab League wants is Israel destroyed. They seem to have come the realization that the Process is Dead because Israel can't be wiped off the map.

I wouldn't feel safe in a muslim-built anything. They do have engineers and scientists, but not many. And most of their engineers are petroleum types and geologists, for obvious reasons. The majority of their technical expertise winds up being imported, for those cultures with the money (always from oil).

I think the exceptions, to some extent, are Jordan and Egypt. And probably Turkey.

I would veto that idea. Especially now that it's been made public. Every RPG in the arsenal is going on display in B-town.
