***No offense to kitkat, but I don't have to pay Starbucks to burn my coffee for me, I can manage that on my own. :o)***
No offense taken, Darth. LOL! I've never even been in Starbucks.
I used to like Dunkin donuts, my husband and I stopped there on our first date. The only place still open after the movie. When we lived in Mississippi, there was a family business called Tato Nut donuts. [Ocean Springs MS] They are better than any donut anywhere ever. I sure miss them. They would keep increasing how many they made, but they always were sold out by 9:30 am or 10. Couldn't even make it until noon.
They were raised three times before cooking, had vanilla bean flecks in them, never ever greasy. Wonderful.
SuziQ has had them, her sister lives a few miles away.
This place was in the hurricane Katrina damage. I think they survived. Wish there was a way to get some here.
I still want pinged to The Dose...
I meant no need to the Singles one...
To be tropical water clear!
LOL!
***Please keep him in your prayers....****
Jonathan is in my prayers every day, Mystery.
"I don't suppose you have seen any photos of the fireworks from last night anywhere"
The following website has lots of links . . . It's the best I could find quickly!:

BTW: The following photo of the President at his birthday party last evening is my idea of FIREWORKS!!
[Could you post the photo for me?! You're the best!]

Great thread, Snugs. I saw the video of the President's trip to the Dunkin' Donut shop on FNC.com and he seemed to be having such a good time. Made a good case for assimilation.
Sanity Island is very welcome this evening.
You're welcome!
"I just LOVE photos that feature our down-to-earth, people-loving president interacting with 'the folks'!!"
As do I!
& while I'm at it thanks for including me in your daily info pings!
If they did, Sir, I'd welcome them too....but a good majority, don't, or when we nicely said "God Bless America, the greatest country in the world" to protesters...with a smile on our faces...THEY WOULDN'T HAVE EACH TOLD US F U.
I love you President Bush; but in the trenches, there's a different kind of person scrambling to get here.
If they were as wonderful as snugs, who knows more about America than most of us do....I'd help pay their way here, but 98% of them couldn't hold a candle to our dear friend.
We should help those that really WANT to be here and REALLY LOVE this country...and only those.
Thanks kit.
Well goodnight everyone!
Keeping our FReeper FRiends in my prayers, especially those with family/friends serving our country in the military. (That includes Coalition forces, snugs!)
God bless!
I'm having a word warp...what is caster sugar?
I don't know what to say about that shirt Dubya is wearing at his BD party......yikes!
Let us not forget that many immigrants never truly assimilate but their children totally do, and if the kids are a bit older and don't, their kids will. I mean goodness, I couldn't dance a decent jig or polka with a gun to my head. ;)
Here are all 3 of them
We have no bakeries here..if you want donuts got to go to Krogers or WalMart...Dunkin Donuts closed here many years ago....grocery store donuts are just not the same....
I'm with you. Maybe we need a definition of "unscheduled."
