I'll wager that more and more black citizens of Zimbabwe are longing for the "good old days" of Rhodesia.

He's part of a new alliance named The Fruitcake Coalition.

It includes North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, the entire middle East (with the exception of Israel), France, Cynthia McKinny, Murtha,.....

The list is too long. You know the usual suspects.

I agreee with Mugabe . Zimbabwe should have sovereignty and the right to do anything it wishes in its own country.
It should also not receive one stinking -assed dime of aid money while they work at it.

I agree. Let them alone.

Except there are a lot of innocent people who are forced to live by his despotic decisions and must suffer because of them. I feel for them.

Mugabe lives in absolute luxury. It costs the ordinary citizen $100,000 Zimbabwe dollars just for a loaf of bread. And he spends millions on his 80th birthday party.

This scenario replays itself over and over in Africa with the same result... which will continue until the people or another corrupt or terrorist govt. coups his regime and the process starts all over again.

Bob's time is limited however and he will have to answer to a higher power.

I'll bet, that other than the few notable exceptions, all former colonies would rather have colonial rule than what they have no:

1)One man one vote one time.

Tribal rule, and the genocide of the minority.

Speaking of that, is Idi Amin still residing in Saudi Arabia, or has he died?

"Z$60,000 for a loaf of bread?"
More now I think.
I should acquire a Z$1,000,000 note to go with my $1,000,000 Reichsmark from 1923.

said Zimbabweans were ready to die fighting for their political rights and would never accept subjugation

Well, then, they'll have your head on a pike soon enough.

"What Zimbabwe needs is a just and lawful treatment by the Western world, a recognition that it is a full, sovereign country which has the right to own and control its resources, the right to chart its own destiny unhindered," he said.

Translation: Everyone pull back, immediately terminate all aid to Zimbabwe and let them starve to death. If anything is needed to prove that Mugabe is one more in a long string of African nutjob dictators, this statement and his actions are it.

"What Zimbabwe needs is a cash-intensive treatment by the Western world, a recognition that it is a Marxist sinkhole which is stealing private resources to prop up and sustain a mob of criminal ex-military thug supporters and clique of corrupt rulers taking advantage of the rule of anti-law to generate personal fortunes, the right to stick its collective hand in the pockets of honest nations to abstract the funds necessary to continue the obvious fantasy of my Mad Hatter administration," he said.

Okay, corrected.
