How insensitive! Doesn't Putin know that he needs to open a dialogue of understanding with the terrorists, er "insurgents" ... uh, "freedom fighters"!

;-) The Russians are not ones to pussy-foot around when their people are killed. Feelings be damned. We should be a lot more like that.

Odd that the country that invented political correctness and the fake and obsequious answer would be so direct about revenge and reality.
At least they understand that the only thing the Islamofascists understand is a good hard whack or death. No attempt at a "dialog".

UPDATED:
MOSCOW - President Valdimir Putin has ordered Russian special services to hunt down the killers of four Russian hostages in Iraq, news agencies reported Wednesday. "The president has ordered the special forces to take all necessary measures to find and destroy the criminals who killed Russian diplomats in Iraq," news agencies said, citing the Kremlin press service.
The order follows Monday's confirmation by the Foreign Ministry that four Russians working at the embassy in Iraq had been killed; they were seized in early .
Earlier Wednesday, the lower house of the Russian parliament passed a statement decrying the murders and saying that "occupying" countries are losing control in Iraq.
Russia has strongly opposed the U.S.-led military campaign in Iraq.

I have an acquaintance who had knowledge--from the Russian side--of the war in Afghanaistan when the Soviets
The Muslims would kdnap sopldiers and bake them alive, then send the body to the Russians.
Russians have LONG memories.

Misleading headline. Ordering "all necessary measures to find and destroy the criminals" is hardly ordering a "probe". Ordering "probes" is what lily-livered U.S. politicians do when they don't really intend to accomplish anything but score some political points.

Yeah, Vlady - kick Moslem butt, baby, and show us how it's done. Just like you did in Afghanistan.
If you're nice, maybe we'll let some Navy SEALs hold your hand.

The KGB is not one to mess with. When Hezbollah killed some Soviet diplomats back in the 80s, the KGB sent back the body parts of the killers to the address. Hezbollah got the message. The Russians don't have an ACLU and are not worried about world opinion. Al Qaeda made the lethal mistake of killing the wrong guys.

Evidently Russian spetznas can come and go as they please. Do they have any special equipment to pick up from Syria on their way back? Or is that stuff in Gaza now...

WHAT! Without the UN and world opinion? We cannot allow Russia to make such unilateral decisions no matter how many countries agree (only those on the leftist MSM will not get the irony of unilateral and more than 1).
Where is that puke Cindy Sheehan or Michael Burg/Berg (SP?)? Where is Shucky Chewmore the senior moment Sin-ator from NYS?

Why the "love fest" for Putin? If I'm not mistaken, He and Russia are our sworn enemy and are currently working to stab us in the back. We should have a longer memory.

The kidnapping was probably a double cross on the "diplomats" who were facilitating the removal of WMD to Syria.
Now one mob (Russia) has ordered a hit on another mob. ("Insurgents")

Everyone of our troops should take several days off in Iraq for sensitivity training while the Russians go about their business.
No P.C. driven military trials for them.
