God, we got more than 9 inches of rain yesterday in the DC area and a lot more on the way.
The last time we saw this much rain in the Washington area was in 1972 with Hurricane Agnes.
I bought flood insurance last week - and it doesn't take effect until mid-July! Mama mia!
So far, I've kept electric power and nearly no water in the old basement.

Oh, more rain.
The copperheads are now making for higher ground meaning anything that isn't waterlogged like front yards and gardens.
