Not really especially with Jacob's comment that satan is trying to thwart his campaign. You really think Utahans care about this?
To: Dane
You know its amazing. These groups were saying that Cannon was doomed last time. Had the same talking points etc etc. The reason he is targeted is that he has the guts to point out the true agenda of some these groups

"Jacob is an embarrassment.........He is arguably a gigolo"
World's biggest gigolo, Hanoi John Kerry has been sitting in the US Senate like forever, and won nearly 60 million votes in the Presidential elections.
What was your point again?

Says the one who spends all his time on immigration threads bashing anyone, no matter conservative who wants the borders controlled and is opposed to amnesties I'm opposed to amnesties also, and so is President Bush, but your hatred of the President makes you blind to that fact, IMO.

According to people who are mormon and live in the State and the district those comments help more than hurt him. I looked up the article in the Salt Lake Tribune last night and taken in full context I didn't find him as nutty as some would have you believe.

Sometimes posters who register and post on the same day turn out to be creatures the Moderators designate "Trolls." Do a search on the word "ZOT" for more information. I apologize abjectly for any offense I may have caused, and place full blame on the cocktails I am embibing. So, you know I'm not a LDS, now. Trust me, I know Cannon is no RINO, and he knows what he's doing on immigration. And welcome to FR. (Didn't mean to be rude.)

NumbersUSA is a pretty good site (the link is to Cannon's report card), and the analysis seems straightforward and thorough. Cannon has a fairly mixed record on legislation dealing with illegal aliens, but the single worst thing he did was support in-state tuition for illegals and anchor babies. That's just sick. It's an
incentive!
To: Jameison; Henchster
I didn't call him a gigolo favorably. I hope it didn't come off that way. I look down on gigolos. Although, for $100 million bucks I might change my mind.

"Unfortunately, and incredibly, they are NOT the biggest threats to America. The cut-and-run, tax-and-spend liberal communists called the Democrats are."
Riiiight.
So what you want to do instead, is simply grant amnesty to 12 million illegal, mostly Hispanic aliens so they can vote 60% for the RATS and give as a permanent RATS majority on congress to give us even more tax and spend, liberal judges and take up John Murtha's cut and run policy of fighting terrorists right?
To: Dane
Everybody is hated aren't they? Either they agree to your open border agenda or they're haters. I told you the other day and I'll say it again, you're only supportng Cannon because of his immigration position, if it wasn't for that you wouldn't care in the least if he had an opponent or what is supposed ACU rating was.
Oh and by the way, since Chafee voted for that Senate monstrosity I predict when September gets here and his primary election you'll be spamming those threads too demanding Rhode Island vote for him and insulting good conservatives who disagree.
To: nj26
I will vote third party or stay home before voting for amnesty-supporting "Republicans" like Cannon. Hope that you will think that over again before voting. Unless you are happier with the Democrats.
To: Dane; colorcountry
Not spin and you know it, Dane, you were on the same thread last night where colorcountry (who lives there and walks the walk) explained it to you quite clearly. If you didn't read, I'm certain he'd be glad to explain the Mormon faithful to you once more.
Instead of trolling every Utah election thread and calling everyone names and acting high and mighty about it, why don't you come clean and tell everyone what dog you have in this hunt?
To: All
Under our current laws, the punishment for illegal immigration is deportation and removal from the country.
When Bush and members of Congress wish to temporarily change that law for only a select group of criminals, it's in fact a form of amnesty.
A select group of criminals is getting their punishment decreased, while future criminal aliens will get deported.

I know you didn't.
That;'s why I pointed out to you, that the biggest gigolo I know, Hanoi John Kerry, not only run for President if these United Sates, he won nearly 60 million votes.
You don't have a point.
You gotta find something else in smear attempt.
