Jameison, now you're in for it. Explain it to him Henchster. (I agree with the Henchster.)
I'd say you missed my point, so I'm going to try again:
Every administration for the past thirty years has failed miserably at securing our borders. To think that you can wave a magic wand and erase three decades is not only unrealistic, it borders on fantasy.
As much as I'd like to, we can't deport every illegal that has come to this country for the past thrity years. We can however, begin the process of changing the system, by securing our borders, documenting existing illegals, getting them on a path to citizenship, and getting them to pay taxes so we aren't subsidizing them. Remember, 99.99% of them are not terrorists or criminals, just people looking for a better life, (like our ancestors) and navigating a broken system the only way they know how to.
Jacob not only subscribes to a plan that simply won't work, he is whacky enough to lose a safe Republican seat - if not this year, in 2008 after his kooky comments get national attention. Then, he'll probably take a few close seats down with him as well.
If you want to remove an incumbant, your efforts would be much better diverted to a liberal Dem, one of the REAL problems, instead of someone who agrees with you on 90% of votes.
