Hey Dane - what do you think of Liz Dole and the NRSC who supports Chafee over Laffey? Or when McCain & Company campaign for RINOs over conservative candidates? You bash Tancredo over support Jacob but it's OK when the establishment PACs do the same thing to true conservative candidates?
Good guy but he doesn't suck up to Tancredo so he is being targeted by the megalomaniac.
Cannon is rumored to be the White House point man on amnesty. Any truth to that?
I suspect that the immigration issue will haunt a lot of supposedly "safe" races. I know I'm not voting for DeVos in Michigan without hearing something from him on immigration.
Tancredos action are setting a horrible precedent. If Delay was still there he would have reeled him in. Whats next will Pro choice Republican congressman go campaign against pro life Republicans congressman in other states? There is a reason why Republicans in congress don't campaign against other Republican congressmen in other states. Party unity can be destroyed by such acts. I hope he is punished by the leadership when this is over.

I will vote third party or stay home before voting for amnesty-supporting "Republicans" like Cannon.

I know this is hard to understand, and I don't like Chaffee myself, but he is the ONLY Republican who can win in Rhode Island. If a conservative beats him in the primary, a democrat will win in November.
And as far as Chris Cannon, I think people forget he was one of the impeachment managers and worked hard to put Clinton's failings out for the world to see.
I think Cannon is deserving of Republican support. He has done a good job.

There's very little DeVos can do - immigration is a federal issue - but I'm sure he'll sign any illegal legislation that crosses his desk.
If you're going to stay home and deprive DeVos a vote just because you perceive he's pro-illegal, you might as well just cast a vote for Granholm and get it over with.
Like I said in a previous thread: Jacob is whacko. Everyone who knows Jacob knows he's whacko. We need fewer whackos in Congress. Ergo, don't vote for him.

In my local House race, the Republican challenger (Van Taylor) is basically a Tancredo clone. He mentions and quotes Tancredo all the time.
Taylor is also a liar who engaged in such dirty campaigning during the primary that he has turned off a lot of Republicans in the District. His tactics are no different than what one would have expected from a Daily Kos/Moveon.org Democrat. He will not be getting my vote in November.
