The FBI said one search warrant was being executed in the Liberty City area of Miami. Officials said no weapons or bomb-making materials had been found in the searches so far.
"We are conducting a number of arrests and searches, and we'll have more about that when the operation is completed, probably tomorrow morning," FBI Director Robert Mueller told CNN's Larry King in an interview to be broadcast Thursday.

I just saw a report by Steve Harrigan on Fox News where he interviewed this young kid and he said the same thing. They told him they were opening a KARATE SCHOOL. A couple of them were wearing muslim garb according to the kid.

I do not know of a ton of martial arts that originated in the middle east. If anything an indoor soccer field would have been a better cover.

I was just watching CNN..and they were interviewing some people from that neighborhood...and one woman said she saw people in and out of that location with scarves covering their faces.
Hmmm...just like with your situation...am I weird to say that I would probably let my local police dept. KNOW of things like that going on in my neighborhood?? JUST to be on the safe side?

I to live in Arlington and have a friend in the PD. He was telling me that the large mosque we have is watched, very closely.
what I am getting from this is these guys wanted to do all of this, had big dreams and thought they had been working with Al Qaeda members that were supporting their twisted aspirations. But they were dealing with FBI agents, never Al Qaeda.
