Editor's note: On the evening of July 17, 1996, at 8:19 p.m., TWA Flight 800, a Boeing 747, took off from Kennedy Airport, bound for Paris. At 8:31 p.m., over 730 people watched Flight 800 explode, killing all 230 of the people aboard.
Not long afterwards, millions of Americans watched their televisions in fascinated horror as search and rescue crews looked for survivors among the flaming debris. Only dead bodies were recovered.
Flight 800 is mostly an ugly memory for people these days. The U.S. government issued an explanation that a fuel tank had somehow exploded. Yet, they flatly denied any evidence existed of foul play, including the possibility that Flight 800 had been blown out of the air by a missile.
All but a few journalists accepted the government's version of events. Few bothered to investigate the numerous eyewitnesses, the radar records and the physical evidence that all suggested a strikingly different explanation of Flight 800's untimely demise. And those few who did question the government's version were made to look like fools or, worse, thrown in jail and prosecuted as criminals for meddling in an official investigation.

The best thing any rational person can say about these 'reports' is that they themselves provide the basis for the controversy that surrounds them.

Did you know that DIA worked as hard as the CIA to cover it up, its in a link at this thread in some government text. Yes, DIA had a big role in the CIA cartoon video. If somebody doubts it, I can steer them to a link. The NTSB issued a CD about the time (1999) the 302's were released, with all the "dirt", pictures of redacted documents etc, if anybody wants one, they are on ebay for $10. (what they cost originally) You see these Jim Hall clones appearing on the forums now because the NTSB has destroyed most of the evidence, so my advice is get the CD, you will be surprised!
Did you see how mad that Jim Hall clone got when I posted some of the TABOO..... banned NTSB material??

But speaking of Rokke, I have been in quite a few crisis situations both in military and civilian type experiences. The military includes numerous combat situations, but all related to explosives and/or munitions. Some of these involved aircraft related incidents, all of these involving shot down or crashed aircraft.
If I ever had to go back into a combat situation or something simular, Rokke is the kind of guy I would want with me. Not only does Rokke have the experience, he knows why things happen and understands why things happen. This is the kind of guy I want on my team. And trust me, I can spot them. I would ride with Rokke anytime.
