I'm mad.
The New York Times wants closed. The San Jose Mercury News claims that Gitmo nurtures a culture of death. The Cleveland Plain Dealer wants Gitmo closed. Journalists and editorial staffs are up in arms that there might possibly be some kind of torture occurring.
So what do they say when torture OBVIOUSLY occurs? How do they react when two U.S. servicemen — in -approved uniforms — have their hearts cut out, their testicles cut off, their penises cut off and stuffed in their mouths, arms contorted and eyes gouged? THIS is torture.

The anti-Gitmo guys will lie low for a week...because this act violates the Geneva Convention in a gross fashion...but you know...they didn't sign the convention and never will. And this is why Gitmo exists...so when the anti-Gitmo guys finally pop up out of the hole...we need to make sure they remember this act and just how low the enemy will go...oh, but didn't we learn this on 9-11 already? Are there lessons that can never be learned?
Have the details on their deaths been reported before?
I hope not. But it is certainly possible.
if you think the mooselimbs in this country aren't itching to get it on here, just like Iraq......you haven't been looking around. We have no idea who is in this country, and it is only a matter of time before the mooselimbs and their associates pull off something larger than 911. I don't know what it will be or when it will be but I would not bet against it happening.
Change dimocrats to DHIMMICRATS!!
Well, its 'bout what we expect from the savages. They must have been in a hurry. I expected to see a throat cutting or beheading video.
I'm not kidding either and agree. I would have no problem imposing the same cruelty myself on a man who most willingly and gleefully inflicted such upon others.
It is not surprising the above tactic worked int he Phillipines.
I'm guessing it must be. People in news rooms tend to hear thing like this through the grapevine. It's written as if it's assumed to be true. But... good God.
The face of "peace" huh, what a joke. Looks angry and hateful to me. On a side not, I love what President Bush said this morning at press conference with the Austrian Chancellor and the President of the EU (Spanish). An Austrian reporter asked the President why so many Europeans, and Austrians in particular, did not trust him or the US, and what was his reaction to a new poll in The Financial Times that showed a majority of Brits thought America was more of a threat to world peace then Iran? Bush said that "to Europeans 9/11 was a moment, but to the US it changed the way we do things." Translated, "you're a euroweenie, you're afraid to do anything about Islamo-facism, so shut the hell up, sit down and listen and you might learn something."
I think you are confusing two separate incidents. an investigation of an earlier event where two servicemen were killed supposedly by ambush has uncovered their murder by Iraqi troops they had trained.
As Satan's most successful effort to date, Islam is, IMO, the greatest threat to civilization IN HUMAN HISTORY.
This is exactly what the Muslims want. This is why Muhammad waged war by terrorism and so have his followers through the centuries. To use terror to rattle and depress enemies with the objective being to get their adversaries to surrender and retreat. This lessens Muslim casualties and leads to easier conquest
Israeli soldiers have also been mutilated this way in wars they fought with Egypt, Syria etc.
Terror is the way Mohamed made war and most Muslims have emulated him ever since.
From the effing Koran:
008.012 I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
From Hadiths:
Allah's Apostle said:
"I have been made victorious with terror" Bukhari 4:52:220
I thought so too. But additionally I thought these men were going to be brutally tortured.
I have profound respect for the military and people of the countries who get what this war is all about. :0)
Very well said.
Private Tucker's family's appearance on the Today Show:
"We don't understand the big political picture. We understand what has happened. Our son has died for the freedom of everybody in the United States. We are very proud of our son."
Yes, the Muslims have succeeded in shaking us up. But don't think for even a minute that this won't make our service men and women even more determined to destroy this enemy. Ultimately, I think this will have the opposite effect than what the Muslims hoped for.
Should the President speak out?
We are working to fulfill government contracts to deliver defense articles to our Forces. Forgive us if we skip
the street shenanigans.
This was an incident from 2004, not the most recent event.
