I heard that too. I don't know why any MSM, including FOX, keeps using these village idiots in any way?

I am to the point where I have no tears to shed if our guys give a little payback outside the rules of engagement.

I understand why we honor the rules of engagement but it damn well ticks me off right now. We may capture the vermin that did this or they may be killed in a firefight but at this point I'd like to see a little biblical justice. An eye for an eye.

Then as I was typing this I realized I really don't want that and for one reason only. I don't want our brave young men and women sinking to the level of the damned.

Where are the Guantanamo critics?

Privately thinking that these two deserved their fate for being part of an illegal occupying force.

I am sure that the Dem's will say that our soldiers deserved it for being over there! I hope that this totally hackes off our guys for some serious kick butt, take no prisoners, total whip out, to name a few cliche's. For the most part.... although I am a Christian, I hate them.

I wish I had saved the link. A newspaper (or TV station) did a series on death notifications and the trendous support given to the families by when the body returns home.

That would be the Rocky Mountain News. They won two well deserved Pulizer's for the story and photos (unlike the NYSlimes award for leaking NSA secrets). Have plenty of tissues handy.

Final Salute

It says this is war and war is ugly, brutal, sloppy, hard work and unpredictable. And we lost these two.

May they rest in peace and may God grant the families peace and comfort.

There are practical problems with the permanent chip problem: One of which is simple: In war, the enemy CAN (despite any tricks you can think of) use those chips to tell the enemy where our troops are.

Sure, try decoding, encoding, and code-breaking technology, then you get into daily or weekly code-changing resets.

Power, replacement units, and range are practical restraints.

Remember, the media are emphasizing TWO soldiers' death by torture to DELIBERATELY hurt the war effort and Bush's presidency: we lost 6,000 in one day in Normandy. Tens of thousands in Iwo Jima.

Without the MEDIA trying to protect the terrorists, the death by torture of two soldiers would empower the president and destroy the enemy.

No dice. A microcontroller running a stripped-down web server is not a GPS transmitter.

Look, I don't doubt that active locating devices exist, but they're not the size of the head of pin, match, or a fingernail.

From a thread that was about Michelle Malkin's post today, there was a general who gave a report on Iraq - very positive overall - but one problem is that all the very bright people are leaving Iraq because of he situation.

That is bad. But even worse was this General's point #12 which said that there is a significant problem with our troops because they are very hostile/angry about the media.

You could almost make a poster:

Support Our Troops by getting a media person fired!

It was half in jest that I posted about sending the FBI/SWAT team into CNN to arrest the Al Queda operatives there.

I am not sure if there is as much jest in my comments anymore because of what the General said.

Our Troops have a significant problem with the media according to this General...

We have made those wonderful accomplishments in country despite our blunders there and the loss of the lives of soldiers that may have otherwise been saved if our tactics were different. I don't want to denigrate our victories there. But I think the human cost of our soldiers has been greater than they would have been otherwise if we'd kept military policy above political policy there.

The reality is we have lost tremendously little life (regarding U.S. casualties) in regard to all we have achieved in Iraq (and Stan).

Our casualty rate is very low - But without question every fallen warrior is tragic in and of itself -

What has been accomplished in the last 4 years is simply incredible - Since Sept 11th, 2001 our enemies have suffered one strategic defeat after another....we have not suffered one. The notion that certain soldiers may be alive if other tactics were used is the type of circling thinking that ties the hands of everyone and nothing would ever get accomplished. They reality is we have been incredibly successful in this WOT...and have done so with relatively few casualties on the whole.

Are JAGs and PC types at State and the Pentagon causing problems? Without question. But that is called the reality of the modern day world. As I said above are the pukes like Murtha, the DEM leadership and the MSM doing us harm?? Again Without out question they most certainly are...and purposely so at that!! They've foolishly staked their reputations on failure that isn't going to happen.

Best regards,

***Until the last line, I thought you were talking about Baltimore.***

Baltimore killings usually just go on the "crime report" column on page three. One or two sentences per victim.

Woud you rather those "chiren" grow up to be terrorists themselves? Do you want them all nuked, including Iraqis fighting terrorists to the death in order to help secure their own freedom? That's as bad as blaming Bush for not moving soon enough and accusing the US of having no plan to retrive soldiers.

Youssifiyah, Youssifiya:

Report: Video Shows Burned U.S. Pilot Dragged By Enemy - April 5, 2006

The video, posted by a group calling itself the Shura Council of Mujahedeen, claimed that its military wing had shot down the craft, which the U.S. military said went down Saturday.

According to statements on Islamist Web sites, the Mujahedeen Shura Council was organized in January to consolidate al-Qaida in Iraq and other insurgent groups. The move was seen as an effort by Iraqi insurgents to lower the profile of al-Qaida leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian, whose mass attacks against Shiite civilians have tarnished the image of the insurgents among many Iraqis.

The footage in the video, which also was e-mailed to reporters, was blurry but the helicopter could be seen clearly. However, it was not possible to see if it had U.S. markings.

The video also clearly showed the bloody, burning body of a man being dragged through a field. The extremist group, in audio attached to the video, said he was a U.S. helicopter pilot.

Video apparently shows public beheadings - January 22, 2005

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A video posted on an Islamist Web site apparently shows two Iraqis being beheaded on a city sidewalk as pedestrians and vehicles pass by.

The video was posted on a Web site that previously has shown video verified as being produced by a group led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. However, CNN has not confirmed the authenticity of this video.

In the video, the two men tell their kidnappers that they drove truckloads of food and supplies to an American base in the central Iraqi town of Ramadi.

The men said they lived in the Sadr City section of Baghdad and worked for a Lebanese company. While they admitted staying on a U.S. base for two weeks, the two said they were lured into the $150-a-month job not knowing they would be working for Americans.

The two men stood -- blindfolded with hands bound behind their backs -- in front of an Arabic banner bearing the name "al Qaeda in Iraq," a group linked to al-Zarqawi that has been responsible for numerous beheadings and other violence.

The last section of the 10-minute video shows the men beheaded by several hooded men as the victims lie on a sidewalk and onlookers cheer "Allah akbar" -- Arabic for "God is great."

Six American soldiers killed in Iraq OCTOBER 31, 2005

In the worst attack, four Task Force Baghdad soldiers died when their patrol struck the device in Youssifiyah, 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Baghdad, the military said.

Nine US troops among 25 killed in Iraq violence

Police on Saturday found three beheaded corpses in the town of Jurf al-Sakhar, south of Baghdad, police said. Hospital officials said the victims had been tortured. Insurgents have shot or beheaded scores of Iraqis they suspect of working with American forces.

New Witness Describes Alleged Iraq Atrocity

Iraqis chant anti-American slogans on a bridge where the charred bodies of two U.S. contractors killed by militants are hanging in Fallujah, Iraq, in this March 31 2004, file photo. Survivors of four Blackwater Security Consulting contractors that were killed and mutilated in the incident, sued the company Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2004, saying it cut corners that led to the men's deaths. The lawsuit was filed in North Carolina because Blackwater's headquarters are in the state and state lawallows financial compensation in civil suits for wrongful death. I have been saying for years that we need to NAME these "journalists", not just call them the very generic MSM.

Let's go after them one by one, name by name, lets destroy their career and their reputations, as they do to our troops and our CIC.

They need to die, so our troops can live, they are obviously helping the insurgent terrorists in Iraq, they are prolonging the war by giving the enemy the will to go on.

Just as they have done in Israel for decades, helping terrorists with propaganda and giving them the cover of victimhood, ie, the claim of "occupation".
