A week or so ago, the new Iraqi Prime Minister or Defense Minister said that they were going to show "no mercy" to the enemy.

They have captured or killed hundreds since. I wonder if the treatment of these two soldiers is a result of that campaign.

Conference with general caldwell. Sounds like the families may have found out about it by the media.

I am beginning to have a much deeper and greater respect for this president that I did in his earlier years.

This past few years would have been rough on any president, and President Bush has had a composure that has comforted the American people since 9/11.

And he has been consistent and positive...

The Vice President shooting a political contributor might make these campaign contributors think twice about exerting influence on this President and Vice President...

(Hey, I think we might need a little comic relief at this point).

"This worries me: it might mean that they're still in the process of notifying the families."

I think you were right. Caldwell sounded really po'd at the news media for reporting it.

Will the Demonrats be outraged at the treatment of American Prisoners?

We are dealing with ANIMALS who do not value life.

Are you talking about the Islamofacists or the Democrats?

***

As he should be. A pox on them for reporting before the families were told.

You can bet THEY weren't treated with dignity or sensitivity. There will be no outrage from the usual suspects. There will only be the indignity of politicians standing on their graves for their bully pulpit antics.

I'm watching him. He seems very upset and angry. We have another dead al Qaeda, Sheik Monsur, along with 2 other foreign fighters.

I knew this would be the end result. Those monsters had an opportunity to extract some revenge for us offing Musawi, and they took it.

May these bastards meet their end at the point of a laser-guided bomb.

General Caldwell, when mentioning their murder, stopped talking for a moment trying to find a word to describle it, he took a deep swallow, (I thought he was going to be vomit) and called it an event.

You are not alone. They bring new meaning to the word 'hatred and depraved'! Evilness has no boundaries.

Obviously you dump the cloths and weapons.
I thought that was so obvious I didn't even think that was worth mentioning.

You may be right.

I think the loss of Zaraqawi might have been a fuse. He died more like a coward than a brave freedom fighter - tried to flee rather than fight to the death.

Of course, there was alot of INTEL found when they killed Zaraqawi that led to the killing/capture of many of these terrorists.

Really don't know.

Take care...

This thread is a tough one...

Is there a difference?

OMG. That was the first thought in my mind when FOX broke the news, but a question I dared not ask.

Let's see how long it takes Murtha to use this as another reason to cut and run like cowards.

"Lord God, we pray you be with the notification teams going to these families. Give them the strength, insight and wisdom to compassionately deliver terrible news. We pray that your Holy Spirit comfort these families and friends. In Christ's name we pray. Amen."

Thanks, Chaplain.
