I certainly hope this doesn't stop either one of them from running. Once America gets wind of Kerry's military record and Hillary's winning personality I'm certain they'll change their minds... I toughest question will be; "Which one is the very best?"

I wonder why CNN only polled Rudy, McCain and Jeb....? Why not Allen or Romney?
To: LdSentinal
Nigh anyone who voted for Kerry would also vote for Clinton. That small slice of Ohio made all the difference, and it could happen that way again in 2008.
To: LdSentinal
sounds like the dems need another Ross Perot to get back in office.

The rats will deliver 47% of the national vote to whatever commie leftist loser traitor who happens to claw his/her way to the front of the pack. And they'll try to close the gap by endowing illegal aliens and dead people with "the right to vote".
To: LdSentinal
Herself could STILL get elected on a plurality with a third-party candidate in the race, much like the 1992 race was decided.
H. Ross Perot probably confused the electoral picture in this country for the next twenty years, at least.
To: LdSentinal
This is rubbish. No person who voted for Kerry in 2004 will abstain from voting because Hillary is the nominee. People will be far madder at Bush in 2008 than they were in 2004, and Hillary will get all of Kerry's vote.
And...the chic, newly registered vote, which I personally think would give her the election were a bland Republican like Allen or Rudy to run.

Sorry LdSentinal, I meant to post my reply #12 to YOU, the instigator of this thread!! LOL!

Considering this is a DNCNN poll the true number is 55%, these peoples minds are not going to change no matter how many commercials. And just when we were told how America loves the coclintons??

I guarantee Hillary's negatives will go down. She will be a major contender and I would be very surprised, even stunned, if she did not get the Democrats nomination.
To: LdSentinal
My guess is that 20% of the no votes were the kook left wing base being angry with her over the war. Probably 15% of those would 'come back home' for a general election vote, but the poll is still good news.

Regarding potential Democratic candidates, 47 percent of respondents said they would "definitely vote against" both Clinton, the junior senator from New York who is running for re-election this year, and Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the party's candidate in 2004. The other 53% simply puked.

Sounds wonderful. Now, if Shrillery would win the convention and within 72 hours discover that her ABSOLUTELY NO vote had risen to 85% . . . it would be even more wonderful.
