""wearing his Ducaucus helmet.... dur da dur""

I always called that guy "Docockus" when he was running for POTUS, (suspected he was gay).

Zarqawi killed; President Bush flies to Iraq; Rove not indicted.....and what does Wolf Blizer lead off with........casualties in Iraq.

I have a question. Admittedly, the numbers of American voters that are watching these news shows on the DBM are made up of people who have at least a smidgen of intelligence. The numbers are made up of (a) liberal diehards; (b) conservative diehards; (c) those who can be swayed one way or the other; (d) those who don't really give a darn; (e) add your own classification.

My question is, given that the viewers have that smidgen of intelligence, isn't it possible, even probable, that a portion of these viewers will finally come to the conclusion, especially given the blatant reaction to the past week, that these broadcasts are pure propaganda, and discount them altogether? I believe that is what is happening, given the declining ratings for the DBM.

At least, I see reason for hope.

Hard to imagine a commentator with more hatred seething inside than Matthews and his counterpart Jack Cafferty.

That was a good one. But there are so many to choose from.

Snugs could fill a whole page with them.

Biden and Graham, which is slimier?

The most positive thing Graham could bring himself to say was that we were now stuck in Iraq and had no other choice but to win.  What a maroon.

MSM gouls celebrate our war dead again

U.S. death toll in Iraq reaches 2,500

World War I (1917 - 1918)
Battle deaths 53,402
Other deaths in service (nontheater) 63,114

World War II (1940 -1945)
Battle deaths 291,557
Other deaths in service (nontheater) 113,842

Korean War (1950 - 1953)
Battle deaths 33,741
Other deaths in service (theater) 2,827

Vietnam War (1964 - 1975)
Total servicemembers 8,744,000
Battle deaths 47,410
Other deaths in service (theater) 10,789

Gulf War (1990 - 1991)
Serving in-theater 665,476
Battle deaths 147
Other deaths in service (theater) 382
Other deaths in service (nontheater) 1,565

As you can see, we have had an amazinging low casualty rate, which is a testament to the planning, the professionalism and the SUCCESS this war has been.

....his [Russert's] newest book (which apparently is a way to make money by publishing the letters people wrote to him about his FIRST book).

Just like Brokaw. I'm astonished no one's pointed this out, not even the blogs.

Listen to any Russert interview and you'll hear him talking about how "these dads went to war, came back and worked TWO jobs to put their kids through college". That's almost word-for-word the way Brokaw's interviews defined "The Greatest Generation". And then Brokaw followed up with a 2nd book of the letters he received after his first book.

Timmy's a copycat.

...I see reason for hope.

Not only are networks experiencing low ratings, but print media too. Exceptions: FNC and Washington Times.

Re Fox News Sunday, what a waste of time! Instead of Wallace asking Snow why troops in Iraq are having to spend a $1,000 of their own money for better helmets and armament; Chris Wallace has a kissy face with a Snow on his picture with a helmet.

And finally, why didn't Wallace ask Snow why Bush has my fellow Marines incarcerated WITHOUT BEING CHARGED at the Camp Pendleton Brig!

Yes. I decided to submit to a poll a few months ago.

The people who call have no input and no discretion. They have the questions. You have to answer the questions as put.

Many times the questions are loaded and make no sense and provide no way for you to give a reasonable alternative.

Polls can be so easily manipulated. Then they are printed, become gospel and are taken as such.

The only real polls are on election days.

Podesta lied twice in one statement on Fox News Sunday.

He said recruitments were down and retention was down.

DoD Announces Recruiting and Retention Number for May

All Services exceeded their recruiting goals in May
All Services exceeded their "Year-to-Date" recruiting goals through May.
The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps continue to enjoy excellent reenlistment rates, meeting or exceeding all objectives.

Connie Chung was attacking RONALD REAGAN on MSNBC!

She was calling him snow white and had the rest like oliver north called the seven dwarves.

She was reporting it as a fairy tale and was giving the story as if reading to children.

NO WONDER her career is dead and she needs MAURY(!HA!) to actuall bring her raitings up from the dead into comatose.

You'll be happy to know that MSNBC cancels Weekends with Maury & Connie
