Listen to any Russert interview and you'll hear him talking about how "these dads went to war, came back and worked TWO jobs to put their kids through college". That's almost word-for-word the way Brokaw's interviews defined "The Greatest Generation". And then Brokaw followed up with a 2nd book of the letters he received after his first book.
