Just watched the Murtha interview/campaign commercial on Meet the Murtha. What total bias. No opposing viewpoints, except for obviously well rehearsed pathetic questions by left wing russert. He should be ashamed.

Murtha is a huge con-man creating a straw man using the troops deaths and their plight as his only concern(major barf alert). Al murtha knows our troop losses have been far less than any other war and to give an exit strategy only feeds the terrorists,warning them to back off til we leave.

He conveniently ignores the fact that we have had major wins recently and that we are training Iraqis at an increasing rate to take over their own country.

Murtha basically wants us to get out before we can claim victory solely for demorat political purposes. He could care less about Iraq, the free world or any of the other things he screams so loudly about. He is truly a traitor covering his ass and in great Bill Clinton style. When under the gun--ethics investigation, Abscam, a plethora of misdeeds coming his way, he goes on offense instead of defense! He really has learned form the Clintonista mantra.

Notice Timmy "forgot" to ask anything about defense contracts steered his brother's way, must have slipped his mind!

Murtha is all BS all the time and in true Clintonista style changes his story as he goes. Anyone who believes this bozo deserves to be a demorat.

Thank God for JimRob going all out here on FR to help Diana Irey with this weeks hugely successful live thread. I urge everyone to support her candidacy against a huge threat to democracy in Penn.

True story. Wallace was doing a morning interview on WABC radio. When asked if he would like to be press secretary he burst out laughing and said he wouldn't last one day. He would tell Helen Thomas to SHOVE IT!

He said something derogatory about David Gregory too, but can't quite remember the exact quote.

A black in Durham, NC, reportedly said that it did not matter whether the Lacross players were guilty or not. They deserved to be convicted because of all the wrongs done to blacks.

If a charged person is to be tried before "a jury of his peers", these players would have a jury of whites, wouldn't they? I am praying that the trial will be moved out of Durham.

This is part of the reason I think Republicans will gain in both the House and Senate this fall and that will lead to the end of the Democrat party as we know it, particularly splitting off the previously monolithic black vote. I think it will end up being broken up between the Republican party, with the growing black middle class, particularly the successful entrepreneurs, and the rest going to some new race based or overtly leftist parties.

Bears repeating.  I agree and I have also said Republicans would gain seats this November.  The black vote went from 9 to 11 to 12% in 2004, more than a 25% increase.  This will continue as black Democrats realize they are being taken for granted.
