THIS WEEK (ABC): L. Pre-empted for World Cup coverage.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Snow; Sens. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., and Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
Rather than dismissing polls out-of-hand, it is best to learn sound methodology so you can criticize them. Undoubtably, the best way to skew them is by the questions you ask. This Iraq casualties issue is getting to feel almost like a wag the dog. Yesterday, a friend told me that there are 171 drug overdose deaths a day in Miami, but the media wants us to think our worst problem is one casualty a day in Iraq.
Minor point but I thought Murtha was not part of ABSCAM. I thought the FBI tried to implicate him but he would not take the bribe. No?
Zarqawi killed; President Bush flies to Iraq; Rove not indicted.....and what does Wolf Blizer lead off with........casualties in Iraq.
He knows the difference, it's just that the truth does not fit in with his Democrat propaganda talking points.
(groan> Thanks, I guess. Sheesh.....
I thought Murtha was a candidate for censure in the ABSCAM deal but was saved by one of his (Republican) colleagues.
Does Watt's Republican opponent have a chance? I got a sollicitation from her, a black woman MD.
I noticed that as well. I hope he gets to Tony soon, I have things to do and I don't want to listen to this drivel to long.
But he can't suppress the news that we now pretty much control Ramadi. Hahahah, Wolfie.
I cannot bare to watch these shows anymore!!! It is no longer "fair and balanced". (if it ever was)
It is all about truth vs. lies.
God help the American people to discern the truth!! And God really help us if they don't, and these liberals succeed with their lies in regaining leadership!!!
You may be right. He just didn't get caught on tape.

I agree 100%. Even CBS News' Public Eye's "Outside Voices" feature, reporter Dan Bobkoff offers a provocative suggestion for the big three network news shows (I would add all three cable networks too):
Hearing NYT spin again & again should stop, if they want any gain in their ratings.
Connie Chung was attacking RONALD REAGAN on MSNBC!
She was calling him snow white and had the rest like oliver north called the seven dwarves.
She was reporting it as a fairy tale and was giving the story as if reading to children.
NO WONDER her career is dead and she needs MAURY(!HA!) to actuall bring her raitings up from the dead into comatose.
IIRC, that was John Murphy, not John Murtha.
FNC thought they WERE with that info(femaledog) with the long brown hair.
She is just plain unwatchable and a channel turner.
I don't really know. I do know that I will be voting for her. Watts does not represent ME.
I had it on the Weekend Preview Thread yesterday.
CBS is one of the worst for updating their web page with info on the Sunday show guests, but it was up when I assembled everything yesterday morning.
Tony was cute when asked (by Wallace) about the helmet picture.
He said he literally could not move his head because of the armor, and he decided to choose whether to look foolish or be foolish (without armor) .
He decided to look foolish.
But he didn't really. He had the helmet on for a good reason not a photo op. Did that Dukakis picture really do him in?
Did the egg picture of Kerry do him in? You know, the green egg emerging from some nest?
Or was it the football picture? Or the soccer picture? Or the bike picture?
So many pictures, so little charm.
Anyway, I think it was the voters realization of what a pathetic phony he is, not any of the pictures, and the same is true of Dukakis.
