Democrats want border security like they want energy independence.
Don't close the borders and don't drill offshore or in ANWR.
Quite a goal, no way to get there tho.

I am LOVING Chrissy Matthews today.
He is SOOOOOOOo biter about the news this week.
Making stupid comments how Tony Snow was "wearing his Ducaucus helmet.... dur da dur"
Shows his poll and says "54% a solid majority, now say it was an mistake to go to war in Iraq", funny cause 54% is never a 'solid majority' when Bush wins, but also the poll graphic even showed +-3.3% error.. lol.
They asked their panel if the war will end up helping Bush in '06 elections (like he is running), of course 10 said no. He asks one panelist why won't Iraq help, and the reasons is "because it won't"
I love these guys...

Thank you for the kind words, AB. I really enjoyed getting together with you and wish we'd had more time. I really wish I'd been with you for that lunch you told me about. They sounded like the Boston chapter of BDS anonymous. Those folks remind me of the folks I was with when I saw Ann Coulter. The deranged attacking their betters.

Guess this MTP interview explains how it is that Steffinguponus is beating MTP in the ratings.

BWB's aren't worth a discussion. They're sooo inside the beltway they have forgotten the rest of the country.
FNC needs fresh faces and true inellectuals.

IMO, one thing that has made this exercise infinitely more difficult is the reputation that the US had developed of not being a reliable friend who was willing to finish the job. I think it goes all the way back the the Bay of Pigs fiasco and Vietnam, the Shah of Iran, Somalia, early exit (in many people's minds) from Iraq the first time. There is no way to succeed here without the help of the locals. It has taken this long to convince the Iraqis that they wouldn't be left hanging if they committed to assisting the US in this mission.

Russert was saying that Bush's Iraq visit was nothing but photo-op Ummm Fat Dumb Timmy, he met the new Prime Minster of Iraq face to face for the 1st time!
This is such an incredibly stupid statement one has to wonder just how high Timmy's daily alcohol intake has gotten

More from Chrissy land:
The Rove thing is unacceptable. Plays clip of Bush saying case closed. Chrissy says it reminds him of an etch-a-sketch where you just shake things up and it makes it all disappear.
Talks how this all goes back to WMD and a whistle-blower was 'went after' by the admin, and how the reason they went after him shows how right he was about WMD's.
Chrissy ends with (speaking of Bush Admin): "So they'd rather make their point, than win the war"
OHHHHHhhhh, the Irony!

Reading about Murtha on MTP and just have to interject a local story. Friday I was driving to pick up my grandkids and lo and behold, Timmy was being interviewed by our local morning guy about his newest book (which apparently is a way to make money by publishing the letters people wrote to him about his FIRST book). Anyway, he went on to discuss the "poisonous atmospherre" in Washington and tut-tut about how many viscious attacks there are, and how he's never seen it this bad. Of course, the morning guy didn't bother to ask him what part RUSSERT contributed to this atmospherre. Here he is today, aiding and abetting Murtha in attacking the President in a poisonous manner, and not offering any rebuttal from the other side.
Can you spell HYPOCRITE, Timmy? I bet you can!

Dr. Rice has extended her reputation for excellence in the position of Secretary of State. She's an amazing woman and smart enough to never become a Democrat.

>I would love to see Russert taken down.<
Surely someone could review his archives of recorded programs and count the # of times he has his "frowny face" or his "Jubilant, gloating face" on, and check the politics of the person he is interviewing at the time.
To: DTogo
Podesta and Rosenberg have declared they don't have to have a plan because they're not in power.
That's the new mantra from the left.
Heard it from harry reid just before he burst into tears! LOL

This was historic in that it's the first time I know of where two countries held a sort-of joint cabinet meeting, and it proved to the Iraqis we continue supporting them.
To Russert, everything is a photo op because that's what HE would do were he making the decisions.
To: Mother Mary
Russert is the ONE reason I hope the Libby case goes to trial, since its Russert's word against Libby. I would love for Team Libby to make a collection of Timmy's shows, expose his lies, and then question Russert's honesty and integrity ON THE STAND, and watch Dim squirm. Russert is a fraud and his show has gotten progressively worse over the last many years; he clearly suffers from BDS.
