We lost one of our own a couple days ago. I won't mention a name, because I'm not 100% sure his family has been notified personally. He was lost when his convoy was hit. He was a young man, and a very professional soldier. He was a real inspiration to those that he worked with and he will be missed. For those religious Freepers who desire to do so, Your prayers for this young hero, and his family would be greatly appriciated.

He was a young man, and a very professional soldier.A great young soldier who left his much less dangerous job at the medical clinic on a heavily guarded and very secure base in Kabul to go be a medic in the field. They needed a medic and--knowing the relative risks--he unhesitatingly went forward to serve in a combat unit. He is a hero in the best tradition of our military.

Prayers sent for this man and his family.
.
May God watch over you and over all of our brave fighting men.
Thank you for your service.

May God welcome this young soldier with open arms. May He comfort his family and friends and give them peace and strength as they grieve his loss, in Jesus' name.

Prayers for the young soul. May he rest in peace in the comfort of Heaven. May God bless him, his family and all who mourn his loss. May God also place a shield of protection around all of our men and women in harm's way. Amen.
