Ward Churchill, the professor who called some of the World Trade Center victims “little Eichmanns,” should be fired because of “repeated and deliberate” infractions of scholarship rules, a University of Colorado committee said today.
The recommendation, which came on a 6-3 vote, now goes to university officials for a final decision.

He's a liberal professor. Had he been a conservative professor accused of the same charges - this would have taken 5 minutes.

Boy is that the truth. And should be screamed repeatedly to every MSM idiot accessible.

Excellent suggestion.
Churchdull is hereby fired for:
1. Terminal cluelessness
2. Terminal dullness
3. Terminal idiocy
4. Terminal stupidity
5. Terminal arrogance
6. Terminal tunnel vision through a hollowed hair
7. Terminal audacity
8. Terminal whining
9. Terminal treason
10. Terminal insanity for
----biting the hand that fed him;
----soiling the nest that harbored him;
----p*ssing on all nearby and acting insulted they didn't consider it a rain of gold;
----vommiting on the hands stupid enough to reach out to help.
11. Terminal impersonization of a human being by a creature from hell.

ist is just astounding that these people are still beating around the bush on how to deal with this guy... he faked his credentials, he is not of Native American descent, he dishonored the memory of the 911 victims in such a horrible way( note how the lefties do not call for his banning)
If this guy were a conservative he would have been skinned long ago and hung in the university hallway for everyone to see

Wife of embattled professor resigns CU post
AP - May 16, 2006
DENVER — Natsu Saito, wife of embattled University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill, has resigned her tenured teaching position at the school but said she and her husband have no plans to leave Boulder.
Saito said Tuesday she will resume teaching at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, where she has been on the faculty since 1994. She has been on leave from Georgia State since January 2004 while teaching ethnic studies at CU.
Saito said she would commute to Atlanta to teach at the Georgia State law school.
Saito's resignation, first reported in the Boulder Daily Camera, comes as her husband is under investigation on allegations of research misconduct, including plagiarism. A faculty committee was expected to release an investigative report on the allegations as early as Tuesday.
Saito said her decision to resign was not prompted by the pending report.
Churchill, a tenured professor of ethnic studies, angered many people with an essay comparing some Sept. 11 victims to a Nazi. University officials determined he could not be fired for the comments but launched an investigation into the allegations about his research.
If the committee upholds the allegations, Churchill could be disciplined or fired. Churchill has denied wrongdoing and has said he would sue if he is dismissed.
The university was not expected to announce a decision on Churchill's decision at least until next month.

That Boulder- Atlanta commute is rather brutal.

Ward Churchill... coming soon to a MacDonalds near you!
To: Quix
He'll sue. His lawyer is from the ACLU and lives for this stuff.
Let me put it this way:
From the Denver Post, 5/18/06-
http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_3834953
Prof ready to sue if fired
(snip)
Lane compared Churchill to Galileo, who was tried for heresy in the 1600s for saying the Earth orbited the sun.
(end snip)
If you've got this much of a persecution complex going on, the odds of a lawsuit happening approach near certainty.

What else could go wrong for the idiot, treasonous, globalist, Machiavellian, Marxist lefties?
SC Justices Ginsburg and Stevens could be discovered . . . expired from a blunt instrument
and heart attack
in the park after 03:00 in the morning
on the very spot where Vince Foster's body was found;
naked in each other's arms
but with bludgeon holes from Queen Shrillery's scepter
with her DNA and blood mixed with theirs on the scepter
and tire tracks in the mud from Scuba Teddy's car
leaving the park scene
in a very weaving fashion
with scrapes on several trees along the way
and a few rare oaks destroyed
by Teddy's car careening into them.
Also destroyed by his drunken escape
were 3 spotted owl nests full of babies.

He should be fired. Into outer space.

Fired the opposite direction would be more fitting--perhaps from great height into the volcano continuously erupting in Hawaii. After all, he CLAIMS to be a native. He's clearly no virgin either . . . but, hey, what a fitting end.

I think he should be lionized too - but I'm having a problem finding lions that will agree to eat him.
I wouldn't dump him on an unsuspecting lion, either; that would be cruel.

I think you win the prize. Wonderful commentary.

John Kerry marries an Iraqi heiress.

SKerry divorces SugarMamma screaming in court for 3/4ths her wealth "for pain and suffering."
Then he mounts a full court press to marry in San Francisco the true love of his life--the Pakistani Nuclear distributor AND Bin Laden in a "progressive" group marriage destined to reform Islam in satan's image."

He IS an extremely intelligent man. Did you see him clean Hannity's clock that time? I had to go read some FR opinion pieces to stop myself converting to radical leftism after that.
I wouldn't mind having him for a professor. He really ups the scale for political discourse.

Wow. Don't know her, although I know lots of folks at GSU.
If she's been on the faculty at GSU since 1994, how the heck did she get TENURE at CU Boulder? According to an article in dailycamera.com, she only started teaching there in 2002 and hasn't taught since fall 2005.
She's ticked off at the adminstration for mistreating her hubby . . . calls them "unprincipled."
Doesn't sound like she'll be much of an asset to GSU.
