Everyone should outraged at his bias behavior and do everything that can legally be done to get this HITLER off the bench. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sound like some think this democrat judge has earned his lead. The problem with this evidence is that there may be several hundred men who hate Weller, and have posted their feelings. In this case the perp could be buried like a needle in a hay stack.

Interesting case.

It appears that activist judges across our nation need to remember the wisdom of Solomon.

"More importantly, if the shooter is caught and found to be under 5'1" will he be too small to go to prison?"

What if it's a woman sniper and she's too pretty for prison?

Police do not know if the shots were fired inside the courthouse or if they came from outside.

Pretty short 'sniper' shot, if it's inside.

The thread has nothing to do with military, or any other state sanctioned sort of killing.

It referred to some one committing murder, which might be justifiable homicide in their minds.
If they really feel that strongly about it, they should confront their victim so as to ensure the victim knows who and why.
How much satisfaction could there be to console an assailant while serving their time in prison if the victim has no idea who did them in?

Wow. If true, Weller sounds like bad news.

"But I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die..."

I shot an elephant in my pajamas once. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.

Police seek suspect in slaying for earlier shooting of Reno judge
By SCOTT SONNER
ASSOCIATED PRESS

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A family court judge was shot and wounded as he stood near a third-floor courthouse window Monday, and police were looking for man suspected in a slaying across town who had appeared before the judge in a divorce case.

Investigators said Darren Roy Mack, a suspect in a killing reported at a Reno apartment building was a "person of interest" in the shooting at the courthouse earlier in the day, Reno Deputy Police Chief Jim Johns said.

Judge Chuck Weller was hit in the chest around midday by a shot or shots that came through his office window at the Mills B. Lane Justice Center, and police sealed off the area and searched nearby parking garages for a sniper.

Police also reported that a bomb-sniffing dog had alerted officers to the judge's car in the court's parking garage and that a bomb squad was investigating.

Weller, 53, was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was reported in serious but stable condition.

"He is conscious and talking with his family," police spokesman Steve Frady said.

Mack, a Reno businessman, had a connection to both the judge and the family court, through a recent divorce case, Johns said.

"We do not have enough information to say he is a suspect" in the shooting of Weller, Johns said.

"He had recent dealings with the judge and the family court section. ... It is an obvious connection we are obviously going to investigate," he said.

The victim in the homicide had not been identified.

Weller was shot in the chest "at least once" by a "high velocity projectile, possibly a rifle," Johns said.

"And I've also overheard a number of wimin bragging about their divorces (Something that I've never heard a man do, BTW), how much they got, how long they can make him suffer, and why don't you get a divorce girl? You can have your own house, a steady leisure income, and as many boyfriends as you want..."

On the other hand, there is the case of my sister, whose husband walked out on her out of the blue with no good reason, leaving her and her three children to make their own way. Her husband never bothered to visit or take an interest in their children, and cut off each child's support on their 18th birthday - prorated down to the very day. He is rather well off, yet refused to help pay for college for his own children. It took my sister 10 years to get back on her feet. Believe me, jerks come in both sexes.

I looked up his name, he's not a real popular guy with the people he's presided over.

I glanced at the headlines and my hopes went sky high. I thought it said 'Janet Reno shot in courthouse' not 'Judge in Reno shot at courthouse'.

That doesn't make much sense. Why go to all the trouble of planting a bomb if you are going to scout, perch, shoot the guy, then evade the same day? Or vice versa? Could be the cop just told him that on a dog-id (reported upthread, false imho) and wanted to keep the crowd back.

I went to school with him. He was a couple of grades ahead of me. His brother, Lanny, was in my class.

Watching the local news--appears that he shot his ex and the divorce judge. If I was the wife's attorney, I'd barricade myself. Manhunt on the way. More as it develops...

Maybe the San Francisco area Family Court mistook you for a Butch Lesbian and gave you a fair deal on that basis?

Uh, actually I have a lesbian friend who last I heard was getting a divorce from her partner. They went to Vermont(?) when they briefly legalized same sex marriages and got hitched there.

I'll have to track her down and see how the courts determined which one to screw...

Hell hath no fury...

And a woman scorned with the full force of the law behind her, well, some things are just beyond what even Satan himself would do.

It is illustrative of the system that the Judge didn't chew her out for wasting hundreds of the court's man-hours over $11.42...

Yep, for every good man that got a bum deal in a divorce there is a divorced bum who has abandoned his children.

Which, of course, means it's perfectly reasonable to treat the responsible ones who love and want to see their children, and who make all the child support and alimony payments no better than the worst pond scum a woman ever chose to marry.
