[God] heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Psalm 147:3-4
God knows and numbers the stars, yet He is concerned about you and me, even though were broken by sin. He binds our shattered hearts with sensitivity and kindness, and He brings healing into the depths of our souls. The greatness of Gods power is the greatness of His heart. His strength is the measure of His love. He is a tender and mighty God.
The psalmist tells us that God counts the number of the stars, and even calls them all by name (147:4). Would He care for the stars that are mere matter and not care for us, who bear His image? Of course not. He knows about our lonely struggles, and He cares. It is His business to care.
God, in the form of His Son Jesus, was subject to all our passions (Hebrews 2:18). He understands and does not scold or condemn when we fall short and fail. He leans down and listens to our cries for help. He gently corrects us. He heals through time and with great skill.
The stars will fall from the sky someday. They are not Gods major concernyou are! He is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24). And He will do it!

Thank you for Military Monday...and thank you for our beautiful lesson from God's Word.
Hope your weekend was a good one.
Hi Mayor. I hope you have a good Monday. :-)
Thank ya Luv!
You too Tulip! Thanks for coming by.
You are very welcome! This is my favorite thread in the week! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!
Good evening Linda. Long time no see. I have not freeped as much as I used to, here of late. I see you on the
Canteen from time to time. Hope everything is going well with you and yours.
My goodness! It has been so long I was beginning to worry about you.
I sent you a FM a few weeks back reminding you of the trip to Austin several of us were making, and never heard back from you. :o( We had a wonderful time, but I would have loved to have had you be there!
Is everything going well for you and your family. I hope so! I guess everything is keeping you busy. Did you ever complete your latest CD?
Yes, we are fine. My daughter graduated high school. You know, I never check freepmail except on rare occasions. When I do they have usually piled up and my response is so late. Glad to hear you enjoyed Austin. No, I spoke to Jimmy, our engineer. We are nearly ready to do it. I just have not carved out time for it. Everything is written.
I guess I should have tried to send you a message by another method! It was a very fun trip and we all enjoyed one another's company a lot. We met a group of the Austin HAT group, and shot targets at the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot in Houston with the HOT group. Lots of very nice people.
Congratulations to your daughter. I know she's glad to put high school behind her. Is she planning on college?
I hope you'll let me know when you're done. I have nearly worn out these I already have! LOL!
She starts Texas A & M in late August. I will stay in touch more. Good to hear from you
