ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

The show started at 7am, and opened with the host reporting the news.
The FIRST call was a republican and it went something like this:
"I'd like to express my condolences.... to my democrat friends out there. Today has to be a very rough day. They have lost a huge ally in Zarqawi today and it has to be tough. I will say though, that its not all bad... you still have Osama out there, so at least you still have him. Thank you"
That just set the stage, like flypaper the libs came out FURIOUS. Was a great 30min segment.

I wonder what the atmospheric pressure would be at the bottom of a 6,500+ km column of air? You'd have to take account of way the gravitational force changes when inside the mass of the earth. Glenn Beck was hilarious this morning. I loved it when he kept issuing disclaimers that he really wasn't happy Zarqawi was dead (in a very cheerful voice), followed by a snippet of celebration music.
Did he really actually go ahead with the cake serving stunt? I love it.
They may be posting that but they can't go public with that stuff. We will hear how they "support" the troops through clenched teeth. How can we Fool America again.

You know, that looks like a good idea. I think when I get home this afternoon I'll pull out the old 50 caliber muzzleloader and fire off a round outside to join in the global celebration of June 8th - Dead Zarqueeri Day !!
I'm sure the DU wackos think we should have captured Zarqawi read him his rights, given him a fair trial and then tried to rehabilitate him. A few choruses of Kumbaya and some community service would have set him on the right path. Personally I think the bomb and bullet method of rehabilitating these rat-bastards works wonders.

As a matter of fact, there really is a "WOOOOHOOOO ZARQAWI'S DEAD" party gearing up right now in the bar and out by the pool.
I'll be joining it shortly. I hate being early to a party and it's just now coming up on 8:00. ;-)
I suspect there will be a few parties among the locals around town tonight as well.
