ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

My favorite call from a C-SPAN loony nut came from somebody who called in on a Friday show, with Brian Lamb moderating, asking pointed questions about the national surveillance issues. The caller finished her rant by saying "and I bet they are even monitoring this call"! Lamb laughed and asked, "Did you know these calls are public?" I busted out laughing as the caller hung up; obviously the couple of dozen of folks that caught the exchange "spied" on her public harangue!
Hoping that the additional intelligence will lead to Usama. Am sure that there are a lot of alqueda wanting to make contacts.....

Death toll higher now in market bombing and car bombing in retaliation in Baghdad. Went up from 12 dead to 13 dead to 19 dead; 40 injured.
