ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

Just saw the clip of the Iraqi press going wild when the prime minister made the anouncement... This is great news for all. Even the other "insurgents" were sick of this murdering sob.

There was some posting of the information that a computer was recovered from the site, but the condition and content was not known. Seven or eight of his "aides" also bought it --- I think dead, not captured.
It is also said that the big tip came from within Z's organization!

Yes, I agree, it is great for the Iraqi's and it was their intel and operation that got Zarqwi. They are starting to funtion at a high level now. Good news for all (except liberals).
