It's on ABC Late Night News Right Now
ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP) Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

Didn't Osama transfer some of "his power" to Zarqawi a while back?
He was caught "alive" but died of his "wounds."
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO funny!! the MSNBC anchorette is giving viewers a background look at this guy. She leads off by saying he had a troubled childhood.
Now she's getting into his evil history.
You're right, I was thinking of that yesterday when I saw the Kaplan thing on Drudge. Although, I remember Imus predicting Kaplan would leave a few months ago. He hadn't said anything recently. Good to see you are up.
Well, reports I read earlier on the thread said that he was taken still alive, but died later of his wounds.
I grew up in Miami Springs and we vacationed in the Keys.
Go ahead and FReep yours to me and I'll compare it to mine later.
I may retaliate with my Southern Sour Cream Apple Pie recipe.
Coop, this is real? I just woke up. I'm not dreaming?
A beautiful retirement photo.
May you both be very happy.
Lots and lots of people used to - sort of like Liz Taylor when she used to order chili from Chassen's in NYC flown to her in L.A.
And I think maybe it was 2 half-gallons on the Blue Bell for $25. I've never had to fly it (sending or receiving).
The other good news is that the Iraqis have finally named their Defense and Interior ministers. This is a big shot in the arm for the Iraqi government.
God Bless our troops!
Who's the next "top terrorist" on the list to get blown up real good besides Bin whatshisface?
Another way the MediaCrats will cover this:
It happened too late for today's print editions, so it won't be on their front page.
Then, tomorrow, it won't be on the front page either because it will be "old news".
Cause of death was "lead poisoning"
Yay!! Hurray!!! This is a good day!!
A beautiful morn.
Well, to be fair to whoever that was, I don't think that's quite the way he meant it. But it's still bloody good news. Period. For eveyone but the bad guys.
