Cops: Terror suspect wanted to behead PM

BRAMPTON, Ont. (CP) - One of the suspects in a Toronto terror plot is accused of wanting to behead Canada's prime minister, his lawyer said Tuesday.

Lawyer Gary Batasar says the allegations against his client are very serious and include his personal threat against the prime minister.

Steven Chand is also accused of plotting to storm and bomb various buildings, he says.

Chand is among 17 people accused of plotting to stage a massive terrorist attack in southern Ontario.

Fifteen of the 17 people facing charges are in court today.

Family members who arrived to support them were met by a horde of media from across Canada and the U.S.

"The allegations... are quite serious, including storming and bombing of various buildings," Batasar told a crowd of reporters outside the Brampton, Ont., courthouse.

"There's an allegation that my client personally indicated that he wanted to behead the prime minister of Canada."

Speaking of the Liberal era & although you may have seen a comment from me similar to this one on another thread:

The home turf in Mississauga of 6 of the 'suspects' is also that of former Liberal MP; the despicable, America-baiting Carolyn Parrish.

Prior to our 2004 general election, her electoral district disappeared via redistribution & she was compelled to compete for a Liberal nomination against Steve Mahoney; another then sitting Liberal MP in the same boat.

Eventually, Parrish narrowly beat him out by less than 200 votes out of over 4,000 cast.

Her margin of victory resulted from bus loads of 'instant Liberals' trucked in from the very same Mosque mentioned in many of these 'terror bust' articles !!!

I spent about half an hour last night via the Internet attempting to document a direct written and/or picture link tying her personally to any of the busted terrorists and I haven't given up by any means!

Why am I not shocked? One of the article says that an MP who was a member of the mosque warned the imam about the 43-year old ringleader of the terror plot. I wonder if that was dear old Bush-doll stomping Carolyn leaking to the press in order to redeem herself.

That is the funniest cartoon I have seen yet about terrorists in Canada!

My family owns a hunting camp north of Toronto and I remember two years ago seeing a well dressed muslim man gassing up near Bancroft who stuck out like a sore thumb. He didn't fit the hunter stereotype and I gave him a second glance and thought to myself "go back to Toronto where you belong". Who would ever think that some of these muslims had training camps north of Bancroft - so the cartoon does make perfect sense to me.

Actually Mississauga has two Islamic Liberal MP's - not because the City all that many Muslims but because they cluster in certain areas, habitually vote tribally & are quite adept at related hijackings of Liberal Constituency Associations.

The Sikhs & Punjabis also have a number of West-GTA Liberal MP's both for the above reasons & because in all of these cases, over the past 4 or 5 general elections, obtaining a Liberal nomination has meant a virtually automatic electoral win in most parts of the GTA.

Anyway, the one you've refered to is Wajid Khan who apparently told this tale as preemptive damage control move since his uncle or father runs the Mosque at the center of all this.

Parrish's successor & quite possibly the worser of the pair is Omar Alghabra who reportedly publicly crowed that his nomination win was a "victory for Allah" but latter - along with his Islamofascist cronies then present - vehemently denied saying as much once the poop began hitting the media blades over same.

Hi there CO!I have read everything posted here and seen some of the quotes..Seems there has been a lot of denial going on..I don't think Canadians will forget about this one..It would have been terrible!
