My son just called and said he was invited to a meeting with the Govenator tomorrow. I told him if I make up a cardboard sign with MY DAD VOTED FOR THE RAILROAD GUY in crayon, would he hold it up at the meeting.

That is not good news since this means conservatives are not racing to the polls.

Turnout is relative. My precinct was dead empty, but since I'm one of the very few conservatives to vote there, conservatism was well represented.

The race will be over tomorrow, so all that will do is give the Democrats at that point the benfit of your humor.

Each member of my family voted at a different time at our local polling place, and there was no more than one other person (other than election officials) when any of us voted. There are six booths, so this is a very small turnout, smallest I can remember.

Wait until 5-6:00 p.m. That's when people get off work, then go to the polls. Hopefully, it'll be more Republicans than Democrats.

My sister-in-law works in the Santa Barbara County elections office, and she says that most ballots these days are absentee, so that's another reason why you don't see long lines at the polls anymore.

Man, those two proposals might as well read: Communism - Yes or No.

Historically, Republicans voted early and Dims late in the day. It has been true in my district for many years. Don't know if liberalized absentee voting has changed that pattern.

Humor has taken me on a 73 year journey through the worst of time and the best of times. It would really tickle my Funny Bone if Tom Mc got 200,000 more votes than Uncle Arnie...

Cruz M. Bustamante is running for Insurance Commissioner? He ran for Governor against Arnold during the Gray Davis overthrow, didn't he?

Can't this guy get a regular job?

Too funny. I had to vote absentee, but I'm definitely going to remember that line when I get to vote in person again.

Our polling place was busy and cordial. Smoothest ever.

Held at our local elementary school, it's former principal, Cheryl Cox, is running for mayor ~
her hubby, Greg Cox, is the current SD County Supervisor (Brian Bilbray's former job)

Greg Cox is also a former mayor here. Tremendous family and super people.
So proud to vote today.

Thanks for this thread, CCC

I thought the Big A had a few challengers and that KFI was telling people to send a message by voting for one of the others in the primary?

Crazy deal!
