Feel free to discuss issues key to your local area that others may be interested in. Post your polling place experiences if you like. And post numbers as they come in later tonight.

I think Bilbray'll pull it out by about 5 percent or so. We have been having some problems in the Registrar's office, but this pace is about normal, at least for the last few years. I sweated out a city council race a few years back for a candidate I worked for, and we got to about 10 before the counts started updating. They updated until 1am or so, then everyone went home. The late absentee and challenged count wasn't finished until the following Tuesday. I think the margin'll be solid enough, though, that we'll be able to call this one before midnight PDT.
Nightee-night!

That was just one race. Earlier the registrar said they had to print 11,000 different styles of ballots for this election including all languages, propositions, candidates, and parties. Takes a awhile to sort that chaos.

You are making it up. Wild charges mean nothing to me. They are useless and childish fantasies. You insult us all who live by civility standards and fairness and facts and respect for others of high office with whom we might not agree on every detail on every subject.

Well, 2% more percent allegedly in, and Bilbray's margin drops 1%. The numbers don't work.

KOGO just announced that when they come back from news and traffic...they will talk about what Busby just told reporters about the race.
Not Sure what they mean....but I am listening on line.

Those of us on Eastern Time believe that the San Diego election folks ought to finish getting in touch with their feelings and start counting ballots.

If Meathead can't take ultra-liberal Marin, his proposition is probably finished. And the 55-45 against margin in Marin is holding up with 77% now reporting.
Meathead needs a miracle from Alameda and L.A. Counties - possible, but unlikely. Meathead HQ should be solemn.

"Jerry Brown speech accepting nomination for attorney general dem candidacy. If he wins in November, look for him to attempt to overturn the death penalty."
Forcing the condemned to listen to one of his speeches will be a fate worse than death.

Local news showed the Alameda County folks starting the process of counting votes , they have their work cut out for them being as the machines got shuffled out of the picture this election, it'll be tomorrow before we get that pile of votes counted.

Well, 2% more percent allegedly in, and Bilbray's margin drops 1%. The numbers don't work. If the 2% is number of precincts and the 1% is number of votes, there is not necessarily any contradiction. Precincts come in different sizes.

Jerry Brown speech accepting nomination for attorney general dem candidacy. If he wins in November, look for him to attempt to overturn the death penalty. Time to dust off Rose Bird's record. Deukmejian rode that one into the state house.
