Cuomo made $710,000 last year, no charity gifts in 2003, 2004

N.Y. State attorney general candidate Andrew Cuomo made 710-thousand dollars last year as a partner in a real estate investment firm and from investments.

That's according to documents provided by his campaign.

A summary of his 2005 income shows that Cuomo, the elder son of former Governor Mario Cuomo, was paid 545-thousand dollars as a vice president with Island Capital Group, a luxury marina firm.

He has yet to file his tax return for 2005 and has requested an extension. Cuomo's campaign says his estimated state and federal tax liability for the year was 270-thousand dollars.

The records, made available today, indicate Cuomo gave two-thousand dollars to charity in 2005, and gave none in 2003 or 2004.

Spokesman John Del Cecato says Cuomo's former wife, Kerry Kennedy Cuomo, listed -- quote -- "tens of thousands of dollars" in donations during their marriage. He says the , to Help U-S-A and the Robert F Kennedy Memorial Foundation, were made on behalf of both of them.

Typical deadbeat liberal. They "feel" others pain but seldom enough to write a check.

John Kerry did the exact same thing in the early 90's. It came out when Bill Weld ran against him for his Senate seat.

I'll see if I can find the graphic.

What ever happened to tithing (post tax, even).

Net on $710,000 should be about $426,000 (very roughly).

I would expect at least $42,600 in donations.

Hypocrisy Thy Name is Liberalism.

Liberals wonder why they are losing one election after another. One of the important reasons is that they are incredibly hypocrites and the majority of voters can see this very easily.

I seem to remember that Lurch's last individually filed tax return from 1995 (when he was still an eligible gold-digger) prior to snaring the widow Heinz showed his income at around $125,000 and his charitable contributions at $1,900. No word on whether that included boxer shorts donated to charity auctions...

Algore and John "Vichy" Kerry did the same thing for years. Being a redistributionist liberal means using the government to play Robin Hood with others, not being generous yourself. I'm always amazed at the hypocrisy and gall of these people who think they are kind-hearted and generous because they can use the force of the state to take/steal from OTHERS..... and don't forget that John/Teresa, Teddy the Swimmer, and all who live primarily off investments and inherited wealth pay a far lower % in taxes (often very low if they can manage their shelters well) than the people whose income they love to hit.

"Cuomo made $710,000 last year, no charity gifts in 2003, 2004"
This means nothing! He had every intention of donating to some charity and in the rat's world intentions are what counts. Only conservatives HAVE to actually act.
