These two children in neighboring houses in Haditha tell heart-rending stories of Marines brutally killing their relatives.
Yet, Iman reveals in one interview that she knew in advance of the IED that would explode to kill the passing Marines. If the child knew, isnt it likely their adults knew? Isnt it likely that they may have more than knew?
The unnamed interviewer doesnt follow-up, any more that the earlier Iraqi journalism student did. Anymore than the many MSM remote reporters and commentators who so frequently repeat the childrens likely tutored comments.
For example, heres the ABC narrative:
May 28, 2006 After a small group of Marines stormed the Younis family home in Haditha last November, everybody inside was killed except one person.
ABC News has obtained an interview with the sole survivor, 12-year-old Safa Younis. The interview was done by a local Iraqi journalism student about one week after the killings on Nov. 19, 2005 .
On the new tape shot by an Iraqi journalism student and given to ABC News by the Hammurabi Human Rights Group in Iraq, Younis, soft-spoken, with rounded cheeks and a headscarf, begins by calmly telling the interviewer, "My name is Safa Younis. I'm 12 years old." The interviewer asks, "What did the American soldiers do when they broke into the house?"
"They knocked at the door," Younis says. "My father went to open it, they shot him dead from behind the door, and then they shot him again after they opened the door."

Would this be the same "democracy" that put Hamas in charge of the Palestinian parliament a while ago? The same "democracy" that our founding fathers were skeptical of? Hitler was appointed chancellor based on a DEMOCRATIC parliamentary vote, speaking of fascism.
As far as killing innocents in cold blood goes, that is unacceptable even when it's in the name of democracy, liberty, or justice.
Are you presuming that US forces intentionally killed civilian bystanders? Are you presuming that all these "civilian" dead were civilian bystanders, when the insurgents terrorists almost always dress in civilian garb rather than military or paramilitary uniforms?
>>I do not know if Haditha was a war crime, and neither does anyone else at this point.<<
What part of the above sentence do you not understand?
The accusation is that civilian bystanders were intentionally killed by Marines. I have no idea if that has happened. However, such things happen in every war, and have absolutely no relationship to whether the war is just or not.
The difference is whether such actions are part of the policy of the military force involved, or are prohibited and prosecuted by it.
BTW, those dressed in civilian clothes and attacking soldiers are not legal combatants under the Geneva Convention and are legally subject to execution immediately on apprehension. A distinction generally lost on the MSM.
The question is not whether such illegal combatants can be legally executed. It is whether these individuals fit into that category.
What is the point of having rules if we promptly begin making excuses for those breaking them? Some of the excuses trotted out for these soldiers sound remarkably like excuses made by liberals for civilian criminality.
We see here explicit vivid proof that at least SOME of the supposed photographs of the shootings WERE NOT of people killed by Marines, but of innocents KILLED BY the terrorists in that village. Yet the MSM IS presenting THESE ABSOLUTE LIES as evidence that Marines did the shooting!
If a terror cell deliberately lines up, blindfolds, ties, and murders innocents by shooting them against a wall, why can you claim they would not lie about Marines killing women and children.
Why can you can not accept the notion that these murders would not threaten or intimidate a child (or two - since two 12 year olds seem to have different versions of the same event at two different times to two different audiences of duped newswriters) into lying about what might have happened?
Thanks for the post.
Our marines wear uniforms while the terrorists wear civilian clothes and hide behind civilians.
Then when the terrorists kill civilians, our marines get blamed by the old media, immediately.
The old media is back to their "Fake but Accurate" tricks again.
Good money for the fear pimps now days because so many of the 15 to 40 can't read so they tune in to the tube for news.
I saw this two-days ago"Newsmax"and tried to get someone here to pick up on this!FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
That's incredible.

"So at CNN's request, a human rights organization went back to Haditha with a camera to interview survivors."
This sentence sent a red flag up for me.
Any decent journalist knows these organization members have an agenda, and therefore would not report the facts. They'd use this ASSIGNMENT to further their agenda.
Doesn't CNN have reporters in Iraq? Why let a biased organization with an AGENDA of its own report this story?
This is a setup.
And now that we've learned Palestinians are moving in to direct 'insurgency' in that Province, is it any wonder that Sunnis will be slaughtered in attempts to create atrocities? Having invited them in, the Sunnis will be devoured by the same blood lust animals that feast in Gaza and Lebanon.
The story is also based on the reporting of a "human rights organization," or, let's rephrase that to "anti war organization," so you know it has to be unbiased and factual, certainly reported without any agenda driven purpose.

The Haditha incident is going to become a nightmare for liberals and their media because as usual they have badly over played their hands, and they will be seen by majority of voters as attacking the troops in times of war rather than anything else.
