The headline reads 'US probe of Ishaqi killings no surprise for Iraqis.' You might have thought the headline and accompanying article were from Al-Jazeera. Dripping with skepticism, the headline suggests that the US military inquiry that cleared American soldiers from wrongdoing in connection with the killing of civilians at Ishaqi was a whitewash. That same cynicism persists throughout the article. Consider these excerpts:
"Isa Khalaf doesn't want cash from the U.S. troops he says massacred his relatives in a March raid. He wants an explanation he may never get now that a U.S. probe has cleared them of any wrongdoing."
"The U.S. investigation that cleared soldiers of any misconduct in Ishaqi may have allowed the soldiers to move on with their lives. But the farming town will be haunted by memories of the bloodshed."
"Some of the victims were teachers. So villagers built a school at the site of the attack to honor their memory. It's therapy for some but others are still looking for protection from any future American operations."
"'Our government will just leave us to the mercy of American soldiers,' said Dhiya Ahmed."
"Protection from" US operations? Left "to the mercy of American soldiers"? Count on Reuters not to point out that it was US operations that freed Iraq from the depravations of Saddam Hussein, and now give Iraq a real shot at democracy. Instead, Reuters portrays civilian casualites not as the accidents, or at worst aberrations, that they are, but virtually as US policy in Iraq.
Here's a link to the Reuters article:

Reuters/NewsBusters ping to Today show list.
Jack Murtha has effectively prepped the battlespace on Haditha for a similar reaction. Let's hope Reuters and all the moonbats are equally upset in a few weeks.
Reuters governance: http://about.reuters.com/csr/corporategovernance/directors/index.asp
Reuters is a mouthpiece for the anti-American.
Terrorists kill civilians all the time and blame the U.S. military.
Every time it is reported, the U.S. is assumed to be guilty. When the U.S. is cleared, the U.S. is assumed to have white washed their report and investigation.
The U.N., France, and the terrorists kill civilians and are guilty of it - but are never condemned when they block, prevent, or are found guilty of such.
*********
SO WHAT!
Every time it is reported, the U.S. is assumed to be guilty.

This is basis for the entire socialist/anti-American mantra of the MSM and the radical left. The realities of war have upset the usual socialist tax-and-spend cycle of the Washington hammer-and-sickle crowd, and of course, in support of their 24/7 effort to regain power at any cost to America and our miltary, the loons of the left continue their ceaseless barrage of "America is Guilty" treasonous crap.
So millions of people around the world who look to Reuters for news will be lead to believe the inquiry was a whitewash and that Iraqis generally should fear the US military.
Deserves repeating in "mouthpiece bold."
It might be worth your while to get a transcript of last night's "News Watch" on Fox News Channel. I didn't see it all, but the two lefties, especially Gobbler and I forget the woman's name, were saying there were many more stories of these "atrocities" that would be coming out--ALL SUMMER LONG. They were almost gleeful about it.
Right up to elections in November, no doubt. It appears they have been "holding" these "stories" for the "proper" timing.
Right. So ........ what?
No on in our lame-*ss government is saying otherwise. They're all balless.
Give it up. If you play this political game, keep up this political interest you are going to eventually become one of them ........ or, you will merely disappear.
Take your pick.
Worst article I've seen, thus far...

As a regular reader of my threads, you're aware that I've been trying to expose and fight MSM bias for years. Now you seem to be saying that there's no point in calling attention to the bias, and what's more, that I'm in danger of becoming part of the liberal media. That is odd, to say the least.
