Keep up the analysis ability you showed in #458, and someone in Washington is going to offer you a job.

Assuming you don't already work there?

My point, exactly.

And IMO, they are aiding and abetting our enemies at home and abroad.

To me this is unforgivable.

Good point,....I have gotten the sense that since that Canandian terror group doesn't play into the media's agenda, it is best to ignore it...blech.

Also...these are "home grown" terrorists, very young, some of them....therefore, there was no "border issue" to blame it on, was there? hmmmmmmmm

The real turning point happened 2 years later when we found out about the killing fields that resulted from our listening to the America hating traitors in the Stone-age Press. Never Again!

The problem is that for the drive by media and morons like Reich only things like My Lai and the "great communist victory of Tet" actually happened.  Anything else is to be suppressed and ignored as "right wing propoganda."

I think that's a pretty good analysis. You could be right on McCain drawing more from the right but I don't think so. The McCain attraction has always been the RINO right and those Democrats who cannot stand Hillary and what the Democrat party has become.

Dissatisfaction with President Bush from the right seems to more from people who don't think he's doing enough, rarely that what he's doing is bad. (With the possible exception of the current understanding of the immigration issue. But here, Bush is aligned more to the RINO's than the right. Also those who are adamant over the prescription drug issue or his signing campaign finance reform, etc. All these things put a dent in support but none of them seem major enough to create the backlash necessary.)

If the immigration issue is not handled quickly, both parties are in dangerous territory.  The Democrats lost to Abraham Lincoln on the slavery issue and it created the Republican Party; and they suffered with black voting rights issues in the South, so they should be more afraid of this than Republicans, IMHO.

fat, wooden, and crazy is now way to go through life, Al..

What's a riot, to me, is that I went looking for an image of Flounder from Animal House (Stephen Furst) to use as a "seperated at birth" reply to your post.  I found this:

These guys can just change the packaging and they've got their "Al Gore, suprehero action figure" all ready to go.

In case you are still wndering what you missed on Late Edition, Senator Allen was preempted by wall to wall generals "discussing" Haditha etc. I did not listen to them, just fastforwarded my tape trying to find the Allen interview.

My favorite algore gaffe was the Global Warming speech in NYC, on the coldest day they had seen in 50 years. The speech was attended by Hillary and Al Franken (front row seats!). All I could think of was "target rich enviroment". In retrospect, its good to keep algore around-its just a matter of time before the wooden cigar shop indian makes a comeback..

If you don't watch out you'll find yourself insulting someone scores of litigiously-pre-disposed activists claiming to be offended without realizing your ever intending it.

There, fixed. Cheers!

I was shocked at no reporting on the Terrorists arrested in Canada too. Couple of reasons IMHO
No one in the media has the balls to tell it like it is
re:Muslims
Second, They can't talk about this as it would boost Bush's
poll numbers. That I believe is the real reason. This story should be huge today. I have barely heard anything about it on tv. This story reminds people who the enemy is. We here on FR haven't forgotten.

Since "polls are reality" for the inside the beltway crowd,(and some here on FR) the best way to undercut Bush's ability to get things done is to paint him as political poison. That any politician who follows Bush is going to die a horrible political death.

I attended a fund raiser for a House re-election campaign last night. I have not been this impressed with a politician, with the exception of Diana Irey, in a very long time.

He was able to speak very highly and in support of the President, while totally condemning the Senate immigration bill, calling for securing the border first. It was enjoyable listening to him.

That doesn't make sense...

Leave it to CNN to preempt a Senator that was in Iraq this last week...(a Republican Senator)....

To discuss an incident that happened months ago...and that has been talked about non-stop for the last week??

oh, forget my first line----it DOES make sense for CNN.

I have been reading this whole thread looking for comments about Sen. Allen's appearance also...ironically, he was the ONLY one that I wanted to hear from, (except Condi).

Shrapnel is easily explained (I've posted this several times) if the Marines threw a grenade in the kitchen upon entering under fire, it explodes the propane tank in the kitchen (and therefore consititues the definition of an IED, which means they DIDN'T lie) then return fire or the insurgents had already killed the Iraqis.

The bullet hole shown in the video on the little boy's back has already been commented on that it could very well NOT cause paralysis, by several vets. However, something that's been mulling in my mind is ...where was the exit wound, and didn't it sure look more like a cigarette burn.

Yep, we've had them here too. Of course, there is NO American flag on the car so one can never be sure who exactly they were supporting.
