One in every three Dem voters is either Black or Hispanic. This gives Hillary a major advantage in the primaries. You forgot to mention the deceased voters.

Absolutely right. The US Military has always stressed the training on local customs, sensitivities and culture.
Whomever is directing this WH initiative on "fixing" our troops, better change gears real fast.
To: Morgan in Denver
Morgan, your post#390 has it right about just who is fighting against Rumsfeld and his reformation.
The losers in the Pentagon who fear more for their jobs and pensions than the wellbeing of the free world.

#272, Really good association, it makes a lot of sense when you consider that it is the MSM/DNC, and are full of setups and gimmickry.

Is everyone still seeing the Kerry/Edwards and anti Bush bumper stickers?... I have NOT SEEN ONE of these vehicles with an American flag on it. No. But usually they are well decorated with other Communist propaganda and environmental hysteria stickers.
Sometimes I feel like I've been transported by time machine back to 1969!

It feels like we keep preaching to the choir in repeating these things over and over but I don't think there's an alternative. My comment is similar to others and we're all saying the same thing. (I guess it beats going out into the street and screaming at cars passing by. LOL)
To: samantha
They have valuable lessons in Gore and Kerry. But did they learn them? I think not. If anything, they are being pushed further to the Left by the moonbats and Mooreon.orgs. The center of the Dem party has lurched leftward. I think they have to go al the way to the bottom before they can come back up. IMHO, they're still going down the hill.
To: Morgan in Denver
LOL.....c'mon Morgan. You know the folks in Denver are just now getting around to thinking about voting in 2004. Very laid back types.

I think also this maybe part of the what we are seeing with the immigration issue amongst others being used by the democrats in the guise of "true conservatives" and infiltrating websites and probably local party activists meetings etc.
This I believe is an attempt to make the so called "base" feel that on certain issues a Republican candidate is going totally unacceptable and they cannot vote against their conscious. So they must put forward an alternative candidate. Of course all this will do IMHO is let in a dem and that dem could be Hilliary.
Now I will take my tin foil hat off.

About "at the end of the day..."
George Will just used the phrase during the panel segment on ABC.
The phrase has been around forever, but it's reserved for "intellectual discussions and scholarly debates." In order to sound like that's what they're doing the drive by media and the Senate House are filled with people who use phrases like this.
My theory is that because of this negative association with the pompous and effete it has fallen out of favor among us commoners.

IMHO, no one who bashes the Commander in Chief really does support the troops. And that goes for our right wing talkers too!

I have been wearing my tin foil hat for some time. There is no doubt in my mind that this immigration issue is being pushed by democrat infiltrators. I am not saying that it isn't a serious issue, because it is, and I want border security implimented as soon as possible.
However, quite a few of the comments I see are highly emotional, short on facts, and full of vitriol...all hallmarks of leftist debating style.

They Wish we could turn the clock back, that's for sure. Thanks for the comment. I too see the pro-communist propaganda bumper stickers with anti-Bush and anti-war messages. I will still see old Kerry stickers among the crap these people put on their cars.
Actually, it's even rare to see the leftist bumper stickers on trucks. The occasional older model, smaller Toyota or something, but rarely on a larger pickup truck.

The little girl said, in the third telling of the story, and this is according to the CNN reporter, she said I was getting ready for school and I knew the bomb would be going off so I covered my ears. The Iragis are lying. I don't believe any of them. They are living with terrorists or they are terrorists themselves. I am sick of the media taking the word of them over our Marines.
To: Boston Tea Party
Herd mentality, and culture in general. When's the last time you heard someone fail to use "hard" with "work" or "working". Another one that gets me is "the American people". 'You' is the strongest word in our language and W would be wise to use it, as opposed to refering to that third person "the American People.' Or how about Americans?
