Every country has people who commit crimes.
Its part of life.
What we don't want, is criminals from Mexico coming here to flood the country with cocaine and murder and rape Americans.

There is no way the illegals making minimum wage or less will pay in enough to the SS system to save it -- became, when they retire, they will also be withdrawing from it.

The fines will not even pay for the paperwork to get green cards.

The whole point of hiring illegals in the first place is cheap labor.

I've heard some anecdotes here in the DC Metro area which don't support the "cheap labor" argument. Like employers who can't keep "native" Americans in manual labor jobs for more than a couple weeks or months, or newspaper ads that go unanswered for weeks at $14 and $15 an hour.

Which is why I support GWB's original and *minimalist* "temporary worker" proposal from January 2004. Not this insane mess the Senate has produced.

Right. Then they become 'legal', so they'll have to be replaced by MORE illegals, who'll then become legal, requiring MORE illegals etc, etc, etc, .......

Ergo, I think it would be easier, and more cost effective, to just bring back slavery. After all, that seems to be the argument of the open borders crowd and 'business' - we can't survive without illegals who make slave wages.

So lets cut to the chase and make them slaves. At least then they'll have permanent jobs and a roof always over their head. And according to the illegals they're here for the jobs, not citizenship, so they shouldn't mind - they'd have their jobs.

Ummm..because there are more Americans in this country than anyone else?
This is America after all.
When you go to China the "vast majority of drug dealers and users" are Chinese. Same with Russia.. Same with every country.

The point being, the drugs have to come from somewhere before some poor kid in the Bronx deals on the streets.
And for the most part, cocaine is flooding into this country through the Mexican borders, with the full support of corrupt Mexican police and government officials.
