Flipping between Fox and SciFi I caught a glimpse of someone who looked like an aging Jane Fonda. It was. NECN was airing its nicey-nicey interview done recently when Fonda hit Boston to plug her new book, "My Treason Until Now." There was Jim Braudy, NECN's Marxist intellectual puppet, interviewing her. I did watch several minutes, fascinated in the way a bloody car accident draws your attention even while you know you should be looking away. In those few minutes Fonda revalidated every tired Marxist cliche and every anti-military statement she has ever uttered. John Kerry is a "hero" because he not only volunteered for duty in Vietnam (a lie but that's for another time) but then had the courage to come home and tell the American people the truth about how the evil USA was brutalizing Ho Chi Minh and his gentle peasant army of farmers. How the Evil Bush Administration is destroying the Middle East for oil (she clearly has learned of the secret pill that turns water into 100 octane low-lead, a pill Bush has suppressed). Fonda sat there in a truly ugly green dress, peering through tinted glasses, looking like every minute of her 70+ high-mileage years.
As I say, I only watched several awful moments until my hand convulsed in a rictus of horror and the channel changed. But one has to marvel at a TV station with such a tin ear that it would dishonor veterans by featuring an anti-American Fonda screed on Memorial Day.
Yup. She's all of those and worse. If I live longer than she, I think I'll go to her funeral...certainly to her grave. I'd like to...er...pay my DISrespects. She'll never know, but it's not all about her. ;-)
Come to think of it, I'll bet that they'll have to leave her grave unmarked.
Dang - I miss SO MUCH culture by not having cable TV in my home.
I have a product from the Crane Company ready to place near her headstone so people can "aim" their tribute to her.
I believe she has a hard time going to sleep every night without a sleeping pill and when the pills stop working she'll live in agony. A patriot dies only once, a traitor dies daily.

We had to listen to our First Selectmen lecture us about the war today at our local Memorial Day service. The Priest that followed got a bigger hand when he prayed for Democracy and its supporters.
It would be a mistake to bury Hanoi Jane and not place a drain over her grave. the spit on the Tombstone would float the battleship New Jersey and the urine would fill Lake Erie. I would pay $50 bucks for the privilege.
makes the heart feel good to know she will will go down in history - as one of the most despicable traitors of any country.

Actress Jane Fonda has pulled back most of a $12.5 million pledge to Harvard, ending the school's plans for a major research center on gender in education.
I guess Janie's given up on reconciliation - it wasn't working anyway. If she thinks bashing the U.S. is respectable again she's kidding herself. A lot of people are.
I just saw her on Japanese TV saying she was a Christian ?
