Over a million and a half brave Americans have lost their lives defending this wonderful country of ours and for what, so a traitorous POS like Murtha can piss on their graves and maybe get them CM'd for doing their God damn mother******* jobs? Sorry for the rant but this close to Memorial day makes me want to go out and put fist through a wall because of this shit.

Didn't we go through this same s**t with the NBC videotape last year..then it turned out that the supposed civilan was indeed an armed terrorist...It's war, and in war, s**t happens. The marines had to make a split second decision..what are they supposed to do..allow themselves to get shot..you can't judge these things from the comfort of a lot of time..

You should add (DEAD FAILLURE REPORT) to the headline posted.

The MSM only finds value in reporting on soldiers when they DIE or SCREW UP.

They are DEAD FAILURES in the MSM for the use of anti-war and anti-American propagandists.

Murtha is no friend of the military. But if the reports are true, these Marines must be brought to justice. Let's wait and see what the Article 32 report shows. I'm not sure where Murtha gets all of his information, but I doubt its from official sources. The fact that the military is reporting on this in the manner they are indicates the news will likely not be good. But let's wait and see.

The problem with our military is the senior leadership have ceased to become warriors and are now brown-nosing, panty waist bureaucrats. Can you see Gen. George Patton getting his panties in a was over something like this?

Don't forget Chris Matthews only has 7 viewers. Plus, if he runs with this how will he have time to cover the other 70s redux- Watergate lite, the infamous Plame investigation.

Do yourself a favor-don't watch Matthews. I stopped and my blood pressure went down.

Bush needs to get out in front of this story. I think the press may not be able to play this one the way they did Abu Ghrabib. Don't know why, I just feel it.

we are willing to give the death penalty to our own marines who probably were under a lot of stress... being IED'd day after day, fighting an enemy who is both being sheltered by the locals, and hiding among them. Losing your buddies day after day... the news said they might recieve the death penalty if convicted...

Calm down and let's see what comes out of the Article 32 investigation. Everything including mitigating circumstances will come out. And yes, the left will have a hey day with it. Our military is the best in the world, and one reason is because it can always be counted on. But they are all taught the rules of engagement. That's as far as I will go until I see something official.

That depends on what happened. Not even Patton would overlook everything. All the details I've seen are from the papers. Let's wait and see. I want to be able to say the messengers are dead wrong. So I'll wait a while.

The Administration has waged a pathetic PR battle at home and this is the result.

If the Executive will not wage a PR battle, the Congress, Judiciary and leftist press will be happy to set the agenda.

Pathetic doesn't come close to describing the campaign waged by this administration to win hearts and minds on the home front.

Imagine if your kid or spouse was killed or injured in this necessary battle for national survival and the POTUS and his fellow incomptents let a bunch of socialist trators have free reign to shape public opinion at home.

Unfu*kingbelievable.

As a Marine it breaks my heart when something like this happens. We have to wait until the process plays itself out, which will takes months (Article 32-GCM). As a Military Investigator I've seen the worst. Since I joined the Corps in 1976 hundreds of thousands have served honorably, and hundreds have given their "last full measure of devotion". Unfortunatly the MSM concentrates on the handful of murderers, rapists, child abusers and thieves that we have booted out of the Corps. Leavenworth has it's share of Marine prisoners. We will show the world that we have the moral courage to deal with this. There certainly hasn't been a "coverup", because if there was, we wouldn't be here today discussing this. Semper Fidelis.

I'm going to hold off on this. The press would just love to convict these men (and women if so) on it's own. I won't play into that.

They'll see their day in military court. I'll review what I can of it and comment then.

Until then, these service members deserve their day before their peers. If circumstances warrant, I support that.

Otherwise I'll ignore the media whores.

I won't forget the American's who have given everything for our country. I also won't forget the Murtha's of our country who are all too ready to use them for political gain, he is not fit to be a Congressman.

I invite all to support Diana Irey for Congress, she supports our military and the WOT.

No one was lined up in front of a slit trench and machine gunned down. To compare this to the Mi Lai massacre only goes to show what a bunch if ignorant f***sticks these people are.

The official requested anonymity, citing the ongoing criminal investigation of the incident.

Bullcrap Fox is recycling what the New York Times is saying.

Could face

Might face

May face

Possibly face

About face...
