There's no such thing as an "ex" veteran.
And there is no such thing as an "ex" Marine - John Murtha and this nut belong in the same padded room..
"ex" vetran/ marine/ naval officer.. whatever. would be, IMO, a one time member of the service that has since proven themselves not to be worthy of being associated with the branch of service they served. murtha is a good example. so is kerry. as would be anyone dishonorably discharged.

I posted a few things on Daily Kos, a liberal minded web site.
I posted some things reference PTSD; and felt that as a VET, with a service related disability, 15 months in Baghdad as an Airborne Ranger (Yes my mug shot can be seen online) I might have something to contribute. They immediately deleted what I had to say. It contradicted their PTSD myth.
I have not been back to this site since; after all, it's a waste of my time. However, I can imagine that they would have quickly jumped all over this story since it tells them what they want to hear.

Im an atheist (Objectivist) and a former Marine. Technically the ACLU guy may be right that its an establishment of religion., in a minute and vague way. But theres no alternative. Men in battle need moral support. Creating an atheistic service would also be an establishment of religion/ideology.
Id have rather worked with and fought with Marines who recently reflected on their faith than with those who all but forgot it. Im sure there are atheists or agnostics in that group who probably enjoyed the solidarity, the time to reflect on their values, or at least a few minutes rest ;^)
If they ACLU can reap big attorney fees for every victory it attains against the federal government, it should have to pay those fees for every loss. Its only fair.

It does not matter what the issue is. The leftists will consume, gestate, and spread lies, no matter how thouroughly it gets debunked.
They still believe the myth from 20 years ago that more women are battered on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day of the year.

That was their fall back position after TANG fake documents as well, after spending the past week saying "This is it! Bush going to down!"
Then they changed to "Fake but accurate"
Then they changed to "Rove planted those documents to discredit Dan Rather"
I really hope these people are posting from a mental asylum somewhere and aren't out among the general public.
To: pissant
To the credit of the DU Vets, they tried to warn the true believers away from this guy but in their haste to "believe" they disregarded all of their warnings.
How convincing could this guy have been if even the DU flakes thought he was a phony?
Yet another Fitzmas denied.

I got out in '96, but wore my field jacket (with patches removed) for like 3 winters after.
I just didn't own a coat.

He is the new "Al Hubbard". For those of you that dont know who AL Hubbard was...... he was the fraud that Hanoi John Kerry latched onto in the VVAW group back in the early 70's. I remember it like it was yesterday. The left never learns. Here is a link for those interested:

You can't shame a liberal by definition. Shame implies a sense of right and wrong. Right and wrong implies a set of objective standards that apply without regard to the situation or the person doing the action. Since liberals don't believe in this they can not be shamed.Shame is the flip side of honor. No honor...no shame.
To: Red6
But I'm sure he was quoted by every liberal web site. After all, he said what they wanted to hear. I always think of this Bertrand Russell quote:
If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way.

There's an "otherwise provided by law" which says that the uniform becomes the personal property of the veteran, and a list of allowances for honorably discharged or retired veterans is in section 772.

Of course, if there IS a law against pretending to be military....they would have to prosecute Kerry. After all, he didn't pretend to be i the military after he did pretend.
( did you know that Kerry was also in Cambodia and met Santa Claus there?)

Good evening.

I wonder if there are any real Rangers who subscribe to this phony's version of reality. I have to doubt it.

If we had had it in 1971, john kerry might be in prison rather than in the Senate. We can dream.

Yes, we can dream of "What if?", but now we
do have the internet, and if we use it well enough and fast enough, we can stop the press and those who manipulate them from foisting ruinous policies upon us through blatant falsehood like they did during the Vietnam war and beyond.
Knowing the tremendous difference this would have made for many of my friends who were in SE Asia and came home to a home front far different than they expected makes this critical. Never again.
This (the internet) has the potential to be the brightness to dispell the dark ages of an uninformed public being lied to at every turn, in a society where every vote does count.
Because of that, this MacBeth will not carry the 'damned spot' of the blood of countless troops and civillians murdered in misguided outrage over a 'crime' that never happened.
Of course, the closer we get to stopping the global Socialists' agenda, the more they will try to regulate the web.
So for now, we at home fight 'the keyboard war', while elsewhere our bravest place life and limb on the line.
At least this Mac Beth guy won't be running for president.

Good evening.
You are preaching to the choir, FRiend. I believe the Net has changed everything, if we can just keep it.
The truth is so easily available now that the light shines on the liars before the BS is fully out of their mouths. The Left and the MSM fears us and even the Internet Lefists don't quite understand what is happening.

I would too. The only ones who subscribe to his nonsense would be the rabid anti-Bush crowd.
