so is there a law against impersonating a soldier..can this idiot be charged with anything?

Not sure about that, but I imagine that the Rangers could mount a pretty impressive class-action suit against him and all the liberal media outlets that spread his slander and lies without checking out the story...

There's no such thing as an "ex" veteran.

And there is no such thing as an "ex" Marine - John Murtha and this nut belong in the same padded room............

I agree. This guy didn't really say anything new that John Kerry had not already said about American Troops.

10 USC 771

Not sure where the penalty provision is, or if there is one.

I find it odd what people consider brave these days. There is no bravery in coming forward against the government . Hundreds of people have written articles, commentaries, editorials, and books. Hundreds of lectures, cable TV shows, protests have been held. The only time anyone gets "in trouble" is when they actually break the law. No one ever "disappears". No one ever is called to be "silenced".

No, the true bravery these days is standing up to liberal shout downs. Standing up to the pro-gay,pro-illegal alien, anti-gun, anti-war, anti-Bush crowd. That is what takes real courage these days.

To get vilified in the press these days you have to be pro-Bush, not anti-Bush. Being openly conservative on a college campus will earn you far more hatred and vitriol than will being openly gay. To be called a nazi or fascist these days, all you have to do is say how much you believe in the government.

The true bravery is standing up to them. The liberals. The socialists, the communists, the "homosexual agenda must be taught in grade school" crowd. Standing up to them is what will get you demonized and that is what bravery is all about.

That's absolutely correct- I've read some of the comments. They go along the lines of "If they are going to such lengths to debunk him, he must be speaking the truth!"

Utterly clueless.

Not to mention the sports figures or celebs who beat drug addiction or alcoholism. They are so "brave." Bah! No, they were foolish idiots who had nothing better to do but blow their fortunes up their nose or inject it into their arms or drink it out of a bottle. Then they finally faced reality and did something about their addictions. Doesn't make them brave or heroes.

You can't shame a liberal. Anything that is done to try to advance the gay agenda, abortions, or anti-US is nobel.

It's only Nobel if Jimmuh Cahtah does it. It's noble, at least to them, if liberals do it.

You can't shame a liberal by definition. Shame implies a sense of right and wrong. Right and wrong implies a set of objective standards that apply without regard to the situation or the person doing the action. Since liberals don't believe in this they can not be shamed. This also allows them to praise a action if done by a liberal and condemn the same action when done by a conservative.

Hmmm.... well, I know that when I got out in 1970 I wore my pea-coat all the time, with the crow still on the arm. But then, I actually served. And I guess, at least for the first few years after seperation, I was till "technically" in the Navy. But then, I never tried to pass myself off as an evil version of Rambo either ;P

I rarely look in over on DU, but when something like this happens I almost have to, just to watch them fight.

Right now they're going back and forth about how pissed they are to have been taken in by this guy, and speculating if he's really an evil Karl Rove plant to discredit the Neo-Commies.

They can't seem to accept that this is just a loser looking for attention, who was willing to tell a bunch of anti-American dupes anything they wanted to hear, and they ate it up like it was ice cream.

After the recent disappointment they had last week when they were all crowing that "Rove had been indicted" only to wind up wrong, they're having some bad times... HAHAHAHA

If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying.

This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the Birthday of the Corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."

When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Marine Corps said (cleaned up a bit), "Screw the ACLU." GOD Bless Our Warriors, Send the ACLU to France.

Please send this to people you know so everyone will know how stupid the ACLU is Getting in trying to remove GOD from everything and every place in America. May God Bless America, One Nation Under GOD!

What's wrong with the picture?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

GOD BLESS YOU FOR PASSING IT ON!

I am sorry but I am not breaking this one....Let us pray

Prayer

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need.

I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Amen."

I'll be curious to see if it ever makes it to the MSM...

If it does , it'll probably be under the context of, "Is another brave American patriot speaking out against the war being "swift-boated" by the right?"
