I might agree with your mom. If you let the dog eat at the table, only do it when everybody is done. But letting the dog eat off of your fork and then going back to eating with the same fork? I wouldn't be able to continue eating at the table...yech!

Really doesn't matter at this point. The "Republicans" true to form are eating their own. It never flippin occurred to them to fight for Nixon and it's happening again. It was fun while it lasted.

Plus.. it is the ACTIVE ones who pay attention that are the PRIMARY voters.. not the dumb pop culture types....

Even the GOP leaders are secretly very scared....

they won't ever admit it in public.. but they know that the tide has tuned against their support of incumants...

they are scrambling...

more money than ever is being spent on mailers, etc... in races thought to be safe....they are worried...

I really don't know who's officially running...we know power-hungry McLame wants in (he's been bitter about losing since 2000), but other than that the only names I've heard are Rudy or Condi (neither have specified running).

Thus far, no one from congress would get my vote.

Not utensils (they had their own, believe it or not) but dishes and bowls. Usually the dinner plates were off limits however.

My dad always had a "pet" peeve of not letting our dogs near the table at meals. Incredibly the dogs knew they had to hide under the table near one of the rest of us and that would work. However now that my parents have a pet that they're around 24/7 since they've retired, he gets away with murder. His cat-condo is in the dining room and when he sits on it my dad feeds him occasionally. When he does he gets a chorus of "HEY DAD NO FEEDING THE CAT AT TABLE!"

Good, they should be worried. My congressman is a good guy but if he weren't, I'd sure try to get him beat in the primary.

Primaries are notoriously low-voter turnout so if that voting base changes, incumbents had better look out.

My guys are "good guys" per se'

but they are not fighters for what is right... and what we want....

if nothing else... I think the strong turnout and the big numbers for the challengers will at least wake them up...
