Please be in prayer for our LadyX. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning(5/24/06). Any of you who know LadyX, know that she has been a member of our FR Family for a long time and is very much loved and respected. She has inspired us, made us laugh, given us some of the wisest of advice, wowed us with tales of her life in the Marines, and shared her childhood memories of an idealic time. Some will recall the sailing of the Mobius, or the time on the tropical island. We have shared many adventures. Now, it's time to let her know how much she is loved.
Post your prayers, encouragements, jokes, pictures or memories, so she will have them to read when she gets back home.
I will e-mail Maggie's son and ask him to send me the address of the dialysis center so we can send cards, etc. I haven't heard anything today. Waiting to hear when she is moved.
Whipped chocolate. Sheesh.
Thank you for relaying that story that the pic
reminded you of!
Glad it brought to mind cherished shared times
& memoriesfor you & Maggie!
HUGS!
No worries! I'm sure that chocolate is also shipped
:)
prayer bump
Continued prayers for Maggie. I hope she is comfortably settled by now.
I Miss you, my Sister in Christ, and Love you, and Pray for All Heaven's Grace.
Oh Nan....please DO post an address if/when you get one....
How I miss her...thanks for keeping this thread going.
Thanks to all for their prayers!
Prayers for your dear mother continue.
Mom is doing pretty good. She had some problem around the area of her groin where they go in with the dye and, as it turned out, to put in a stint in a single blood vessel in the front part of her heart. Problem at the "wound" site seems mostly cleared up, although they've got that leg immobilized for tonight, and she isn't to lift her head off the pillow. The blood vessel was 75% blocked.
She also threw up once, no one seemed to know from what. She ate well at both lunch and supper. Her voice sounded strong. I talked with her for 45 minutes or so, until the nurse came to do the last check before sleep time.
Again, many thanks. Now if we can just get our Marine back up to speed, which I'm sure we can.
Prayers for LadyX and for MEG33's mom continuing. Please keep us posted.
Thank you John..but it is El Gato's mother who is ill.
Prayer bump for Maggie and for El Gato's mother.
Amen
We Plead for our Maggie, O Sustaining Lord, for Continual Strength, both Physical and Spiritual. Thank You for the Beautiful Light of Love she is to us, for her Clear Testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. O Faithful and Excellent God, Lift her Pain Away, Fortifying her with Thy Powerful Spirit of Grace. You Guard her Constantly, and You Guide her Thoroughly, and for this we Give You Praise.
O Lord, we Kneel at Thy Grace Throne, Loving You, Praying All Things through our Triune Holy One, amen.
There was a message from MrX on my phone when I got home from church. He said that they will move Maggie to the "nursing home" tomorrow and he will call me tomorrow and give me the address/phone#. I'm curious as to why he said nursing home. Last I heard the nursing home would not take her because they are not equipped to handle dialysis. I hope MrX misspoke and that they are moving her to the dialysis center. Anyway, he said she is doing well and "the prayers are working." So keep the prayers going.
Thank you nan.. of course prayers continue for our wonderful ms. maggie!
Continued prayer for Maggie, her family, and her caregivers. May God bless them all.
We won't stop praying.
